Clean swimming pool featuring a splash park, a slide and a diving board.
Specific pool temperatures for the Ada Municipal Pool are not consistently published. As a seasonal outdoor municipal facility, the water temperature is generally ambient, fluctuating with the prevailing weather conditions, and is typically unheated or minimally heated for a refreshing experience during the summer operating months.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Ada pool is largely appreciated for its diverse attractions, including a medium water slide, diving boards (requiring a safety test), a kid's splash pad, and distinct shallow and deep ends, along with concessions and changing facilities. Visitors often commend the spaciousness, options for young children, and shaded picnic areas. However, key criticisms revolve around poor communication, specifically regarding early closing times, which were only posted on Facebook, leading to customers paying full price for reduced hours. Additional concerns include the pool's cleanliness, the poor condition of restrooms, and the dangerously shallow water at the slide's exit, which reportedly caused injury. Management's response to these issues was also noted as unhelpful.

We love the Ada pool! They have a medium sized water slide, diving boards (you do have to complete a water safety swim test before being able to jump/dive off the boards), a kid's splash pad with mini slide, and the pool feautres a mushroom water fountain, shallow end for kids and deep end for more advanced swimmers. They also have concessions, a changing area, and restrooms!
Always a great time at the Ada pool!!
So despite the post was made on Facebook and wasn't made visible at the actual pool nor informed at desk when we were paying, no one said a word that they were closing at 4, expecting people to follow their Facebook to this information, paid full price, didn't say anything. Also too, no one also thought to mention that with reservations made for a birthday party that they also close at 4 and still expected to pay full price again with only having information posted on the Facebook page knowing people don't always have access to that information. And the response we got was we were S.O.L. from the manager. Highly disappointed and disappointing.
The pool was nice but it was dirty. The restrooms were not in the best condition.. I also went down the slide and the water is to shallow for a slide like that. I also sprained my ankle because of it. Please make that part of the pool a couple feet depper!!
Large water area, don't feel crammed. Choices for small children to play. Some shade and picnic area out of sun.
