What are people saying (AI review summary)? Fountain Pool receives mixed reviews. Many appreciate its decent to nice size, often described as well-maintained, fenced, and secure, with some suggesting it appears Olympic-sized. It's considered affordable, with a $3 entrance fee, and is suitable for activities like swim lessons and water aerobics, also noting its weather insulation and proximity to a park/trail. However, significant concerns include limited seating (advising visitors to bring chairs) and, most critically, serious allegations of racist and discriminatory behavior from lifeguards towards non-white children. There are also mentions of past reports of rude lifeguards, and one review suggests the pool might need to be larger to accommodate more swimmers.

Decent sized pool that is well maintained! My son took swim lessons at Fountain Pool through the Parks and Rec Dept. (Summer 2025) and it was a pleasurable experience for us both! The pool is fenced in and secure, but keep in mind, there is limited seating available so take your chairs with you! Overall, I would suggest giving this local pool a visit. So much fun at yet an affordable price! 🏊♂️
Nice size pool. Appears olympic size, but not sure. Ligeguards onsite last time I checked. PD has syorage unit onsite so they may be onsite at times. $3 entrance fee (should be free). Ive seen it is weather insulated in cold season. Next to nice park area and Wellston trail.
Based on the reviews I'd have to rate this 3 stars. Surely by now over 20 people can swim since they have a major competitor Rigbys Water World. If only 20 people can swim still they need to make the pool much bigger. Now I will visit this location in the future and try the pool out and hope the life guards aren't as rude as was reported several years ago. Rude life guards need to be terminated.
This is not a place to take your family if your skin color isn't white. Very mean & racist lifeguards. Me & my kids didn't experience any discrimination, but what I witnessed made me and my mom sick to our stomach. So we won't be returning. Sad to see those people treat those kids like that! They were just at the pool on a hot day trying to have fun. They were all polite, listened, and just being kids having fun at the pool but I guess that was a problem.
Great park for water arobics.
