What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are highly polarized, especially concerning the lifeguards. Some patrons praise them as hard workers who are attentive, ensure safety, and are effective, with one even witnessing a successful save. Conversely, many others criticize the lifeguards for being overly strict, constantly blowing whistles for minor infractions, micromanaging children, and being generally unfriendly, leading some to question their effectiveness in real emergencies. Amenities also receive mixed feedback; while some mention good and well-priced concessions, others complain about a lack of concessions, no shade, no chairs, no slide, limited tables, and a cash-only policy. Unpleasant odors, such as a strong 'poop' smell or the kid pool smelling like 'pee,' were also reported. Several dissatisfied reviewers recommend alternative pools.

Best pool i've ever been to!!! All the lifeguards are such hard workers and very sweet to the kids, even when they're correcting them. I enjoy the experience of going to the county pool with friends and family, and you know your kids are safe with the lifeguards, i have not seen one kid go unnoticed by the lifeguards. The concession are super good and well priced. I would 100% recommend this pool
Worst public pool I have ever been to. Left within 30mins of arriving. The lifeguards blow their whistles every ten seconds for any and everything. One lifeguard blew the whistle at a 3yr old entering the pool via the ladder and told him he couldn't be playing on the ladder. HE WAS SAFELY ENTERING THE POOL. If someone actually needed saving in this pool they might be screwed because the lifeguards are too busy micromanaging kids having safe fun in the presence of their parents and family. No shade, no chairs, kid pool looks like pee, and there must be a poop plant nearby because it smells STRONG.
The lifeguards are just looking for a reason to blow their whistle. The manager followed the kids around just to yell at them for any little thing. She never took her whistle out of her mouth. Super unfriendly and not fun. Go to Jim Barnett so your kids can actually have fun.
No concessions, no slide, cash only and the most strict child "lifeguards" around. I think the only thing they learned in training was "Walk". They whistle if a kid thinks about running. NO shade, not much room to set up or have snacks/lunch and tables are very limited! Its surprising as this area is so much fun and the park is great. Save your self some money, sanity and let your kids have fun, Jim Barnett and Strausburg pools are 10x's better and less then a 30 min drive. Plus as a veteran medic and x real lifeguard, I wouldn't trust any of this group to save anyone if needed.
10/10 recommend this pool. Lifeguards are on task and I would trust them all to save my life. I have seen a save in person so I am a witness of how great they are.
