The Waverly City Swimming Pool, located at 501 5th Ave SW, Waverly, IA, is a popular seasonal public aquatic facility. It features a large main pool with zero-depth entry, a diving board, and a water slide, along with a separate wading pool designed for younger children, offering a family-friendly recreational experience during the summer months.
Specific and consistently published pool temperatures for the Waverly City Swimming Pool are not readily available. What are people saying (AI review summary)? Kid's Kingdom Park in Waverly is a highly-rated playground known for its unique, creative wooden equipment, including swings, slides, and a fast merry-go-round. It offers good shade, gravel play areas, and spacious grassy spots for picnics and games. Adjacent to the park is a swimming pool with deep, shallow, and baby sections, along with slides, a diving board (requiring a swim test), a snack bar, and mini-golf. While affordable and offering lap swim, some visitors found the pool's rules and lifeguard enforcement to be excessively strict. Both the park and pool hold nostalgic value for former residents, and there are ongoing discussions and hopes for renovations or a new pool facility.

I'm going to follow suit with what Tim T did and post more photos of the Kid's Kingdom Park in Waverly, because giant fried Roostie and I came all the way from Minnesota to come here and leave a review for this particular park. There are swings, a tire swing, merry go round, slides, plus a ton of unique wooden playground equipment that we haven't really seen in the Minnesota parks, yeah sure ya betcha...
Cool SHADED park with a swimming pool next door. This review is for the playground but since there is no option to review it, I will just do it here. Wooden playground is super creative and fun for kids to play and hangout. Multiple functions form climbing bars to steps. Gravel rocks are soothing to sit down and play. Grass shaded area to sit down for a picnic if you don’t like to sit at the benches/ tables. Go merry around is classic and fun. Super fast. Grass area is spacious enough to throw some balls. Pool is right there for a swim with affordable tickets. Awesome park!!
Omg! As a former resident from Iowa Lutheran Services, this place was my childhood! I'm surprised it's still standing. I was at Bremwood from 2000-2004 Age 9 to 13 and again from 2006-2008. This was where I taught myself to swim by diving in the deep end 😂 I do see talks of renovations or building a new one! Please build a new one! I'll do anything to make sure the small city of Waverly can still have kids running around at the pool. Unless Waterloo is the closest one now
We (as a mom and 3 teenagers) got the whistle blown at us WAY more than we have at any other pool, and we’ve been to a lot. It was pretty quiet too, maybe a dozen other swimmers. Just having fun with my kids y’all. Don’t be jealous. Three stars because it had potential to be fun.
There's a deep end, shallow, and baby pool! There's also a snack bar and mini golf. They have a slide in the shallow end and a slide and diving board in deep end. You have to pass the swim test to go in the deep end or on the slide or diving board. The bad thing is that there's pool break that takes a little while. They have lap swim 5:00-6:00
