What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, consistently praised for its cleanliness, reasonable admission and food prices, and attentive, friendly staff. Reviewers highlight its manageable size, making it ideal for families with children of varying ages, and its excellent facilities which include multiple slides for older kids, a dedicated area for younger children, and lap swimming. It's noted as Wausau's newest renovated public pool, often not overly crowded, and capable of accommodating many visitors. Summer swimming lessons offered through the city are also highly recommended. The primary complaint, however, revolves not around the pool or staff, but rather the behavior of some rude parents and groups who disregard rules and occasionally harass the young staff members.

This pool I would considerably say is the nicest pool with the nicest staff I’ve had. Last summer we spent quite some time here and the staff was good at managing behaviors. My one and ONLY complaint would be that the staff and the managers are not the issue, but rather the rude parents and groups that came. Parents often disregarded the rules or I would be sitting enjoying a day with my kids and I would hear these parents making fun of the guards, making up stories about them, etc. the staff do there best and I think they need to understand that there are kids as young as 15 that work there. Grown adults harassing and bullying children and then coming on here and complaining about them is very sad.
My family really loves this pool. Always kept clean and even on hot days in can accommodate alot of people. The slides are fun, and prices are pretty reasonable for admission and food.
My kids enjoy coming here very much. It’s a manageable size if you have multiple kids of different ages. They have a family bathroom. They have a smaller playground/slide area for younger children. The water pressure is a little bit intense and can be intimidating for smaller kids. They had two big kid slides, one curved and one straight which is pretty steep. I prefer that the Weston/Rothschild pools open earlier and have a sand area or a splash pad, aside from the pool, which makes it more engaging for longer swimming trips to keep things interesting, but this pool is a good fit for keeping it simple and being able to keep track of everyone and it’s less expensive. I especially recommend the summer session swimming lessons through the city, which run for two weeks almost every single day. My kids made so much progress being able to have that daily instruction.
Nice pool. Clean. 2 bigger slides. One fast, one slow. One swimming pool. One kid area. All areas are connected. Many life guards on duty and all are very attentive. Priced very reasonable. Snack bar available.
This is Wausau's newest renovated public pool. It has two watersides, a large kids feature, and lap swimming. Probably one of the most underused pools in Wausau, so it's normally not insanely busy.
