What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this establishment are highly mixed, but lean significantly negative due to operational and staff issues. Positive experiences highlight it as 'much fun' for kids aged 9-12, with good facilities like slides, diving boards, and grass areas, plus reasonably priced food. However, numerous negative reviews detail frustrating interactions with staff and lifeguards. Complaints include employees demanding children to leave areas unnecessarily and exhibiting a lack of patience, particularly with young children. Lifeguards are inconsistently strict, sometimes yelling at children for minor play (e.g., piggyback rides, pushing friends), while at other times neglecting dangerous behaviors like frequent, close-range cannonballs, which led to a patron contracting pink eye. A major concern raised was a fecal contamination incident that led to an early departure and doubts about water safety. Many long-time patrons express disappointment and state they will not return due to poor staff training, inconsistent rule enforcement, and hygiene issues.

I used to go here as a child all of the time. I will never go back again! I have a 2 year old. He was playing on the sand as they were raking. I was trying to convince my child to get off, but it takes a minute to persuade him sometimes. They DEMANDED my child not to play anymore and get off so they can rake. I was forced to pull my child off, otherwise they would’ve done it for me. And there’s no way in HELL, will I let someone else grab my boy. Anyway, as soon as I take my son off, the employee walks into the office with her rake. ??? So, you’re telling me, you didn’t actually HAVE to rake the sand in that moment? Y’all couldn’t have waited 5 more minutes? I will never force my child off of something, unless it’s a life/death situation. We are still learning how to regulate our emotions. A big part of that is PATIENCE. You guys work with kids every single day, TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES how to handle situations with children! This place SUCKS and is ran by teenagers who don’t know any better. Ew! Never again!

So much fun here. We started out some place else and left to go here. We wish we would have had the while day there. We will be back. The grandkids are 9 and 11 and loved it.

$5 for day pass per person, $2 if not swimming. Foor inside very reasonable. $4-5 for hotdogs, burger, brat and $6.50 is to add chips and drink. Two big slides, diving boards, great grass area to play or sunbathing on. My kids are 9 and 12. Great for 4-5 hours of fun. Worth stopping for a parent win!

We regret buying a season pass here as a family. The lifeguard will yell if you are giving your child a piggy back ride, big kids can’t push their friends around in the water (they’re kids, let them have fun). They check your life jackets. Do not waste your time at this pool.

My family and I went there on Sunday trying to get through the heat of the day. We knew it would be busy which it was. For most of our time we stayed by the log cross area as it wasnt as crowded. The lifeguard posted there about 4pm was more concerned with little things. My husband got yelled at because he unawarely got to close to the rope for the log area. There was a group of boys she kept yelling at for rough housing with each other. She didnt seem to have a problem though with kids doing cannon balls from right next to her post. Because she wasnt telling any of them to stop there started to be cannonballs into the water almost every minute. I had 1 kid cannonball so close to me he touched my legs. I was about 6 feet from the edge at that point. We drifted a bit away from that area but the splashing to faces still was reaching us. Shortly after that the pool had to call everyone out for fecal incident. They said 30 mins after 20 mins they were still fishing poop out because it was throughout the entire middle part of the main area and we left knowing the water would not be treated properly for that. Because of the constant cannonballs and me getting water in my eyes from that I now have pink eye because who knows how long the poop was in the pool and the life guard allowing the kids to do cannonballs. Never use to be allowed, and when the pool is that busy is a huge safety concern. Dont think we'll return which is a shame because I grew up spending almost every summer day at that pool.
