What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews express significant dissatisfaction with the pool, primarily citing overly strict and inconsistently applied policies, coupled with unprofessional and 'militant' staff behavior. Common complaints include a mandatory swim diaper policy for all children aged 4 and under regardless of potty training status, arbitrary bans on specific types of goggles or masks without clear explanation, and stringent swim test requirements that focus on a 'perfect' stroke rather than basic swimming competency, leading children to fail despite meeting core safety criteria. Staff members, particularly lifeguards, are described as rude, inflexible, and unhelpful, with one instance of a lifeguard physically handling a child. These issues consistently resulted in families feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and ultimately opting to leave the facility prematurely.

Please be aware of their new policy - any child 4 years or younger now must wear a swim diaper. We arrived with our 4 year old who has been potty trained since 20 months who was very embarrassed and ultimately our group of 6 opted out of going to the pool, sadly, as the pool visit was eagerly anticipated by the kids. This policy clearly does not take into account how a child may react and frankly is insensitive. If enough of us provide feedback maybe we can succeed in securing a better policy - ex. Children who are not toilet trained, generally those 4 years and under, must wear a swim diaper or tight-fitting protective covering.
Place was alright just kinda bullshit they didn't allow me to use my under water breathing mask/goggles to swim with, which I was really excited to use at the pool but they said "no" I ask "how come?" And they just said "I don't know we just don't allow those type of goggles" 🤦🏻‍♂️
The pool is saltwater and warm. The staff and the lifeguards are absolutely crazy. Never been to a pool with such militant staff. First off our goggles that we have been to dozens of pools were not allowed. Second off my daughter is a good swimmer. The swim test consists of going down the pool and back then treading water and floating on your back, seems reasonable. My daughter accomplished this without issue but would not pass her because they didn't like how she swam which is very weird that they focused on a very specific stroke and swimming style to pass. Imagine being tested on walking and you walk just fine but because your stride isn't what they wanted you fail....
The pool is nice and the salt water is a good touch. The staff and the lifeguards are absolutely crazy. You cannot do anything without them barking at you. Additionally, I have a daughter who is 10 and another daughter who is 7 that both are OK swimmers. The swim test consists of going down the pool and back then treading water for 10 seconds and floating on your back for 10 seconds all of which they were able to do no problem but they would not pass them off on the swim test because they didn’t like the way that they swam. They wanted them to do a traditional crawl stroke in some sort of Olympic fashion. They tried multiple times and every time my daughters could do the swim and the floats, but they didn’t like how they swam because it wasn’t some sort of perfect stroke. Absolutely crazy! Terrible staff.
Lifeguards wouldn’t allow my 2 yr old to continue to go down the CHILDREN'S frog slide because he was physically not capable of staying upright on his butt the entire way down the THREE FOOT SLIDE. I attempted to explain to a female lifeguard that came up to me with another lifeguard that we were coaching and helping him and he would start on his butt but the one time he made it down all the way on his butt he hit his head. She rudely responded with “well those are the rules, are you going to listen? Or do I need to go get someone else?” We ended up leaving because a male lifeguard then grabbed my son by the arm and pulled him away from the slide. HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE. Do not waste your money. We will only go to cashmere community pool from this point on. If you choose to still go after reading this review, make sure to bring a cloth diaper for your small children because regular swim diapers are not allowed. We had to purchase one of theirs for $10 just to get in. Overall experience: 0/10
