What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews indicate a largely positive experience at the water park/pool, with many visitors having a fantastic and relaxing time with family, including grandchildren and children of various ages. Key positives include the overall cleanliness of the facility, attentive lifeguards, and well-sectioned areas catering to smaller children. Staff members were often praised for being incredibly friendly and helpful, especially one employee who offered thoughtful accommodation for a special needs child and another who assisted in saving money on tickets. Facilities like the splash pad, diving boards, swimming lanes, and play areas were also well-received. However, there were some criticisms, notably regarding lifeguards being perceived as on a 'power trip,' particularly concerning an unnecessarily difficult swim test that was inconsistent with other pools and a situation where non-lifeguard friends were allowed to swim during a staff break. One minor issue was a slow ticket purchasing process. Despite these few negatives, the general consensus suggests a great place that many plan to revisit.

Great place I had a great time with my grandkids and they also had a blast, overall great place.
We recently went camping in the area and had a fantastic time with our grandson. On Friday morning, we visited the water park splash zone and had a wonderful experience. The environment was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The lifeguards were always on duty and attentive. I especially want to thank a young male employee who took the time to talk with us about my special needs son. He asked thoughtful questions about whether my son is nonverbal or functioning, which was very encouraging and accommodating. He also provided wristbands for both my son and me, indicating that my son is a high needs child. Great job, splash zone! We will definitely visit again!
This is a great little pool with a splash pad, diving boards, swimming lanes, a rope obstacle thing and a play area with a basketball hoop. Unfortunately the lifeguards seem to all be on a bit of a power trip. The swim test for our kids to be able to go off the diving board is unnecessarily difficult, one of them told me they are using the American Red Cross swim test, but I looked it up and couldn't find anything like it. My kid passes the swim test at every other pool he goes to, and he swam across the pool several times with no lapse in confidence. But they failed him because he wasn't pulling his elbows out of the water with each stroke. That's actually a terrible way to swim. Your elbows only need to be out of the water if you're doing freestyle with your head down, and without goggles their head is up the whole time. If you pull your elbow out of the water in that position, it causes you to sink with each stroke and tire out quickly. Have you ever seen an Olympic diver use a crawl to get out of a pool after a dive? No one does that. A breast stroke works just fine. The other thing is they have a lifeguard break where the lifeguards are able to get in the pool and swim while everybody waits. This is fine and actually a great policy, they deserve to have a cool down. But there were a bunch of teen kids who were obviously not lifeguards, probably the friends of lifeguards, who were allowed to swim during that time. Not cool to abuse your position to win points with your friends. Lol corrupt bureaucrats in training I guess. But otherwise, the pool has good facilities, grassy areas to put your stuff, a decent concession stand, okay prices, and plenty of parking.
Purchasing tickets was a bit slow, but I had a good experience with this because one of the employees there went out of their way to recommend a certain package so I could save money. So I was very greatly appreciative. I have 3 kids ranging from 7 yes to 1.5 yrs. I was happy to see that the areas were sectioned off where my smaller kids could hang out without worrying about bigger kids running them over since the bigger kids have their own pool. It was clean and plenty of lifeguards on duty.
