Cozy leisure center with several pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tubs and slides.
The indoor pools at Suncadia Swim & Fitness Center are typically maintained at a very warm and comfortable temperature, often reported around 82-84°F (28-29°C). The outdoor pools, including the leisure pool and lazy river, are also heated for year-round use, ensuring a comfortable experience, though they may be slightly cooler than the indoor pools. The two outdoor hot tubs are kept at standard hot tub temperatures, generally ranging from 100-104°F (38-40°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility generally receives positive feedback, particularly for its diverse pool options including indoor and outdoor pools, lap lanes, and waterslides, which are enjoyed by both children and adults. The gym is well-regarded for its space and equipment, and amenities like jacuzzis, saunas, and steam rooms (though one was temporarily closed) are appreciated, alongside well-maintained grounds and locker rooms. It is highlighted as a great place for families. However, there are clear areas for improvement: the food and beverage offerings (described as basic food trucks) and service levels need elevation. A notable negative point of contention is the change of the ice rink from traditional ice to 'glice,' which users found to feel like skating on plastic, making it difficult to grip and leading to disappointment. During peak periods or specific conditions, reservations for pool access are essential and book up very quickly, and users note the outdoor pool is often warmer than the indoor one.

It’s a simple but pleasant place. I’ve had good times here swimming laps and playing with my kids. If you’re tired of “adult swim” kicking your kids out of the pool or tired of paying for water slides you aren’t going to use, try this place. No complaints here, the gym was very well put together with a lot of space and ton of nice equipment!
Our kids enjoyed the waterslides and indoor and outdoor pools. The facility itself is great with gym, lockerrooms and well maintained grounds. Improvements are needed in the food and beverages offered, sorry basic food trucks don't cut it and the service level has room for elevation.
We have been coming to Suncadia for several years and enjoyed the ice rink until today. They changed the ice to something called glice, and it felt like skating on plastic. Neither myself or my kiddos or sister were able to ice skate like normal as our feet couldn’t grip the plastic ice. It was a waste of money and a bummer.
We’ve been staying here in Suncadia for a couple days and I’ve stopped here two of those days already. They have a nice upstairs workout area. Downstairs they have an indoor lap pool with three lanes. There’s also an indoor waterslide. And then you can go outdoors, and I have an outside swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.indoors, they have a sauna and steam room. The steam room has been closed for service while we’re here so I expect that that should be open in a couple months.
We really enjoy swimming here. Currently during the pandemic you need reservations. I highly recommend when you book your stay you find out when the reservation window opens. Because they book up pretty quick, I’m talking several minutes and the timeslot that you want will be filled. The outside pool is way warmer than the inside pool just an FYI. Take a towel with you if it’s snowing so you don’t freeze on the walk between inside and outside. Water sides are fun for the kids and adults alike. All in all a great place to spend time with the family no matter what their age.
