The campground itself is very large and has a variety of things to do. The splash pad is big and the kids really enjoyed it. The main pool is nice and warm. The big water slides are very fast. The arcade room is really nice and clean with a lot of games. The RV sites are nice with concrete pads and chairs w/table and a nice block fire pit. The table and chairs though were filthy and definitely needed cleaned, which we did ourselves. We also had to clean the patio itself because of remnants of animal waste. This is because the campground wants pets confined to the patio area and not the grass. I believe that the tables and chairs at the pool could definitely use a cleaning as well. The staff that we dealt with was friendly except the two ladies that are in the General Store. Both ladies were rude just by their tone and facial expressions. The one lady seemed like I was bothering her by asking a question about prices. The other lady, I was just a bother even though I was checking out. Even though we had a few bad experiences (which you can have that anywhere). The place as a whole is very nice.

I will never get over how amazing this place is! The location alone excites you knowing how close you are to Myrtle Beach but you truly have everything you need to enjoy vacation right at the resort! Great food, drinks, and amenities…They offer so much for all ages! My 16 month old had a blast playing in the splash park and running around the courtyard during karaoke night. Such a family friendly environment ☺️ Also very clean and well taken care of. Kudos to the manager and staff! Second summer here as a family and many more to come!!

This is a great place. Our campsite was very nice, there is so much to do and most of it is included in the price of your stay. The pools are all well kept, the lazy river is amazing (my only suggestion there is more lounger style floats because there just aren't enough of those). Mini golf is great. It was a great place to ride your bike or ebike. Bring your own golf cart (small fee to register) or rent one. I didn't go in any of the cottages but they appear well kept from the outside. I would say be sure to bring bug spray because unfortunately, there is an abundance of biting bugs (no fault of the campground, just a heads up) trying to sit outside our RV. Definitely a great place and I hope we can make it back again!

I have to say, after being loyal customers of Sun Outdoors for several years and spending thousands of dollars with your company, our recent experience at the Myrtle Beach location has made us seriously reconsider our future support. While we typically travel with our camper and have never encountered issues with check-in, this trip was different. Due to the longer travel distance, we chose to rent a cabin - and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. From the unfriendly and unhelpful service at the front desk to the cabin not being ready at the scheduled check-in time, the experience fell far short of expectations. What made it even more frustrating was losing money on perishable food we purchased, only to be left waiting far beyond check-in time. I arrived at the office at 11:30 AM and proactively asked if the cabin could be ready earlier, even offering to pay the early check-in fee. The staff member I spoke with seemed indifferent and simply said someone would call me - which never happened. After traveling all night with a tired 4-year-old, this lack of consideration and communication was especially upsetting. What made matters worse is that after the official check-in time passed, we sat and watched several other guests check into their cabins while we continued to wait. It was incredibly frustrating to be overlooked and left with no explanation or updates. We genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the guest experience at this location. As longtime customers, we would love to continue supporting Sun Outdoors, but only if we can count on reliable service and basic hospitality in the future.

Sun outdoors Myrtle beach has something for everyone. Our son loves the splash park, pools, lazy river, playgrounds, and arcade! There’s always something to keep our busy 2 year old entertained without having to leave the premises. We stay in a cabin 1-2 times a year. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. Our cabins are always clean and beds comfortable. The grounds are well kept. We are grateful to have a place like Sun outdoors to create memories with our friends and family.
