Public pool featuring a kids' wading pool, a diving board, a climbing wall, and a snack bar.
As an outdoor public pool in Virginia, the water temperature at Strasburg Town Pool is primarily dependent on the ambient air temperature and sun exposure. It is generally not heated to a specific temperature, meaning the water can be cooler at the beginning of the season or on overcast days, warming up considerably during peak summer and sunny weather.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This community pool is a long-standing favorite, cherished across generations for its clean facilities, beautiful mountain setting, and a range of amenities including a rock wall, diving board, and a fun, fenced wading pool with a mushroom waterfall. The male manager is consistently praised for his kindness and helpfulness, and lifeguards are generally seen as competent, contributing to a sense of safety. It's noted as being less busy and more affordable than other local pools. The concession stand offers a good variety of snacks and hot food at reasonable prices, though the sweet tea could be improved. Ample seating and shaded areas are available. However, a significant negative point raised by one long-time patron is the rude and 'trashy' attitude of some teenage staff members, which detracted from their experience.

Absolutely my favorite pool ever. I’ve been coming to this pool since I was 7 years old I’m now 33 and this is where I bring my girls . The male manager here is wonderful . He is so kind and makes sure everyone has the right swim clothes on and will even let you borrow a top. The pool is always clean . The patio area is clean . The concession stand is great . Sweet Tea needs some work lol . They have a rock wall . Diving board . The Wadding pool for kids is small but it’s fun with the mushroom waterfall. Plenty of room for people , beautiful mountains surrounding it. Adult is 4 dollars to get in and students are 3 dollars. Lifeguards are great . We have new ones this year. It’s such a small town and to see a beautiful community come together is such a lively feeling.
Smaller town pool that accommodates both young and old. Less busy than some of the adjacent town pools which has been an attractive option. Kids wading pool has water umbrella and sail shade and is completely fenced in to keep the little ones corralled with enough room around the perimeter for seating to be brought in from home. The big pool goes to 5.5' in the main area and much deeper (I think it was 12') in the roped off area that's mostly designated for jumping off the rock climbing wall and diving board. At least two life guards were on duty at any time. Ample table seating all around the pool, some in full sun with availability to bring your own umbrella or you can sit under the large shelter with picnic tables or sail shade covered lawn area. Plenty of shade, if you desire it. There is a single row of lounge chairs to use. They have a snack bar that serves some hot food, chips, drinks and Popsicles with prices not being too terrible and take both cash and card.
Used to love this pool been coming here for 6 years. Honestly the staff are just trash and they hire trashy teenagers who are snippy and rude to the customers. If you do not like your job, then most other places won't hire you either with that kind of attitude. Have the life y'all deserve
So much fun, love the rock wall and good snacks, nice place overall
