Reviews
First concern is that I put my daughter in swim lessons, and it seems like they don't get enough individual time. The 30 minutes is split between multiple people, definitely not enough time. Also not teaching correct kicking, or stroke. I also just saw two kids pass their swim test, even though they did not complete the most important part of the test and one of them panicked the second he got in water. If you're scared of being in water or you can't dive to get a dive stick you should not be level 4 ready. Second concern, I send my daughter in, for her swim lessons, as I have mobility issues. I pick her up when lesson is done. I'm now finding out that you guys think it's okay to have naked men in the women's locker room, where my daughter is alone. Completely unacceptable and I will no longer be giving you guys any money or utilizing your establishment. My daughter will be pulled out of swim lessons and will not be put back in.
I've been going to this pool my whole life and for the first time ever I got a complaint against me from a group of girls for staring...it's a public space you're going to get stared at by everybody I was there with my friend in the hot tub minding my own business and talking to him they were staring just as much I know this sounds stupid but I can't help but feel unwelcome because of this and The lifeguard pretty much told me to not look at them stay away from them and then gave me a verbal warning that he didn't want to hear about this again.
The lap swim hours arent as posted. Instead theres open swim with one lane supposedly reserved for lap swim but used for kiddie splash instead and they have priority.
I have went to this pool since I was a kid and the staff used to be so nice and encouraging of kids not to do things their not supposed too kindly. I recently took my brother here and I noticed how the lifeguards reacted and spoke to the kids. This is supposed to be a safe place for kids. let's not encourage anger but lets support and encourage staff to do better and kids to behave better in a supportive and safe environment
The pool was fine. My reason for 1 star is because they have signs on the changing rooms/bathrooms that state people are "welcome to use whichever room they identify with". These are rooms often filled with children. In no world is that acceptable. So disappointing.
