About

Swimming pool that's small and inexpensive.

Specific, regularly updated pool temperatures for Moxee Pool are not publicly available. As a seasonal outdoor facility, its water temperature is largely influenced by ambient weather conditions during its operational summer months, typically being suitable for recreational swimming.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are highly mixed, presenting a polarized view. Positive feedback often highlights a generally friendly atmosphere, attentive lifeguards who know regulars by name, affordable pricing, and a lack of overcrowding. Some appreciate the ongoing facility updates, such as more chairs and umbrellas, and find it a good place for swimming lessons. Conversely, a significant portion of the negative reviews centers on experiences of perceived racial discrimination, with multiple patrons describing incidents where lifeguards intervened for white patrons but ignored similar or more severe incidents (like being hit by a ball) involving Hispanic families, and failed to address rude comments or gestures directed at them. Lifeguards are also criticized for being inattentive and preoccupied with their phones. Another major point of contention is operational issues, specifically the cash-only policy combined with a frequent lack of change on-site, which often leads to patrons being turned away, with management offering unhelpful responses. Some long-time visitors note a decline in quality compared to previous years.

Ive been going to this pool for the past 4 years and its very nice for the size. They have constantly been updating things around there such as more chairs around the pool and more umbrellas for shade. Its just all around a great atmosphere and the lifeguards know my friends and i by name and are always nice to people even if they are getting in trouble. I will admit there have been times that I have gotten in trouble and they take the time to explain what i was doing that was wrong and why. All around great pool go moxee!

This is THE WORST Place to go lifeguards did absolutely nothing other than be on there phones on top of that it's NOT HISPANIC FRIENDLY!!! A group of white boys kept getting splashed and the lifeguard tells the kid to stop (mind the fact multiple lifeguards told the kid to stop) 5 mins later me and my husband got splashed multiple times and lifeguard said nothing so I move somewhere else of course it's just a kid But then I get hit in the face with a ball the lifeguard seen it and still said absolutely NOTHING!! And the group of white boys (not lifeguards just some Hormonal High school boys) made awfully rude comments and rude gestures. I have gone to this pool a years ago and was amazing 😍 I'm not sure what happened to the previous guards they were amazing and never had a problem. My husband and I are very well known in moxee for years and never had problems till this year.

I would give this place 0 stars. It is not mexican friendly. A older white man was getting splashed in the face the life gaurd says to stop. My wife gets hit in the face with a football and not a single word. When i told the life gaurd nothing was done. After made rude comments to my wife. Again nothing was done. So i will never be going back ever again and i will be telling everyone i know about my experince. From now on i will be going to yakima pools instead...

The pool is basic, but a good place to cool off. Bring exact change. We have been turned away several times now because they do not keep money on site to make change for a $10. They only take cash. 30 minutes after opening they were turning people away (the people ahead of us and behind us all had cash). They lost out on a dozen swimmers because they don't keep a cash box with enough change. The manager came out and just shrugged and told us to complain to city hall and walked away. From now on we're just heading into Franklin pool or up to Selah. Better facilities and nicer employees.

The lifeguards are always friendly and attentive. The price is GREAT, it's never super-crowded, and the atmosphere is fun. My kids enjoy taking lessons here too.
