First of prices are high..... $75 for my family to enter is crazy. Love the pool area and all the amenities that are here. Their teen lifeguards are rude as anything and spent half their time goofing off rather than watching the swim area. Undecided if we'll be back due to the cost of admission

3 kids and I were swimming and minding our own business when an old man, claiming to the the owner, started screaming at us from the side of the pool. He was telling people "watch this", screaming that I need to come here to him and have a talk, that we need to get out. It wasn't just a normal raised voice of someone trying to get your attention. He was very confrontational, belligerent, and aggressive. He seemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I didn't personally know who the owner was, but this man was incredibly unprofessional and aggressive. We thought he was a random old man that was harassing us, so I decided we needed to leave. I asked multiple times for him to leave us alone because we were only swimming. I was trying to mind my own business and just leave because I felt the kids weren't safe, and we didn't want to be harassed. To keep the kids safe, I swam them to the opposite side of the pool so we could leave. The man then drove around the pool in a golf cart, and when we got out of the pool, he was screaming in my face, saying I need to listen to him, and that I need to be an adult and learn how to read, because his signs say that kids are not allowed in the pool (they do not say that). I then asked what we did wrong, and he screamed that the 3 year old child is not allowed in the pool. He kept screaming at us for absolutely no reason, so I was trying to walk away to leave. He then proceeds to push me back and tell me that I'm not allowed to leave and that I need to listen to him because it's his business. I just continued trying to leave because I didn't want the kids to see a big confrontation like that. The old man was stepping side to side to try to block me and the small children from leaving. I continued walking and when I left, I confirmed that the old man is actually the owner. I don't know what his issue was with me, but it was completely random and made us feel unsafe. He said we needed to listen to the rules from a lifeguard that blew a whistle at us. There was no lifeguard and no one told us about any rules. I have never had this issue until today.The person who he was referring to was a small child that was yelling at us, not a lifeguard with a whistle. Why would anyone acknowledge a child no older than 10 that is yelling at them in a pool? We assumed he was just a kid bothering us, so we ignored him, and that is why the old man came at us. No whistle, no legal lifegaurd, nothing. We come here multiple time every year and look past the filthy and run down pool, but we will not be returning after today. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm am shocked at how the place looked! This was my first time visiting and my last! That place was horrible, the picnic tables were old and almost rotted, the bathrooms were nasty, you could clearly see that nobody was taking care of them and the pool was the dirtiest thing I had ever seen! So much alge in it that the bottom and the side of the pool felt furry 😳 it was so nasty! Never again, I should have asked for a refund, but we just wanted to get out of there. I didn't take any pictures of the place, and I regret that. Stay away!!

Upon arriving we learned they only accept cash at the gate and concession stand, so we had to leave to go to an ATM. I was hoping with it being the first week the pool was open that it would be clean and it wasn’t, the bottom of pool had algae growing on it and floating in it. I don’t believe there was any chlorine in the water, usually one can smell it. The 5ft dock was covered in large piles of what I hope was bird poop. The only good thing I can say was the life guards were attentive and were not allowing profanity or aggressive horseplay. I use to come here as a child, one would think there would be some updates or new attractions in 20 years and there isn’t.
