What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but largely negative outlook on the establishment. While some guests had a wonderful time camping with friends and family, and found it a perfect place for kids to hang out, camp, and swim, many significant issues were reported. Common complaints include poor facility cleanliness and maintenance, such as disgusting porta-potties lacking supplies and filthy women's showers with staff showing indifference to the conditions. The pool area drew criticism for conflicting operating hours, frequent closures due to breaks (dinner, lifeguard) or lack of staff (even on holidays), and the removal of popular diving boards. Financial concerns are prominent, with guests noting substantial increases in membership fees, additional daily charges for AC use, daily guest fees, and extra costs for larger families, leading to a perception that it's 'all about the almighty buck.' Other issues include insufficient electrical hookups on some lots preventing the use of multiple appliances, and an inconsistent, difficult process for key card deposit refunds. Several long-term campers expressed disappointment with the decline in quality and value, stating they would not return.

So the website says they close at 5, they have a board saying they close at 7. Just to be told the pool closes at 4 to 5 for a dinner break? Right after a 15 minute break for the life guard lmao, there’s a lot better and more efficient places to swim and bring your family

I used to camp here alot, tent camping, I always loved it. Went there the weekend of the 4th and I was okay. The porta potty was disgusting, they never came to see if it needed anything, we had to get our own toilet paper and use for 3 days out of the 4 we was there. The woman's shower was nasty, it actually had poop in the shower stall and when the guy was told about the nastiness of the woman's shower room, he shrugged his shoulders like he did not care. There was a few good things but I will not return! Not sure what has happened in the last couple of years. They make the money to put a nice bathroom in the back and a new shower house and someone to maintain it all!!

Spent 3 years here. First year was on a small lot and electrical wasn't sufficient and I couldn't run AC with any other electrical device like a microwave or air fryer without tripping a breaker and it has been that way long before I got on the row of lots because I talked to someone else that was on that row. Year 2 got on a nice big lot and neighbors were always nice there. Diving boards were removed at the beginning of 2023 and that was the selling point right there for me. I heard something with insurance and someone supposedly got hurt but hey, owners were able to reallocate freed up funds and get an ice cream shack in there to make, possibly, more money than the diving boards brought in. The pool was the best amenity and it would be closed at any given time due to no lifeguard, even on a holiday weekend! They want 3 dollars per day to run A/C which is more than it cost to cool down our home and should be included in our membership fee but no. Membership has gone up about 300 since I started going there and not to mention you have to pay for guests daily. 🙄 went to turn in my key cards for gate to get my 60 bucks and I have to give a2 week notice like it's a job and have a spotless lot... sorry folks my lot wasn't spotless when I got there and my brother's wasn't either and he didn't give a 2 week notice and got his money. It's all about the almighty buck here folks. I'm glad We're out, we'll miss the friends we made there but too high a price for too little. Talking about money if you have over 2 children and 2 adults in your family you'll pay an extra 40 per child under 18 and 60 for 18 and over. Do your research before landing here! I'm amazed at the 4.3 star rating since I got 3 years of experience there and seeing all the 1 star reviews before mine......
