Kid-friendly pool and splash park featuring a diving board, water slides, a snack bar and a kiddie pool.
Both the competition pool and the recreation pool at the Valley Aquatic Center are heated to maintain a temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 26.7 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility generally receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, pristine pools (though one mention of leaves was made), and attentive lifeguards. Families particularly appreciate the excellent value, affordable pricing (e.g., $4 for a family), and the ability to bring their own food and coolers, making it a popular summer destination for kids. The heated outdoor pool is also enjoyed during cooler months for lap swimming, which is available M-F 8a-noon for $3.50 (cash only, no bills over $10), with restrooms open but showers closed. However, there are notable criticisms regarding the lack of equipment to cool pools in summer and significant issues with the swim program's leadership, management, communication, and frequent last-minute changes, which negatively impact participating families. Some visitors also wish the high dive were open for adults.

Just took my family yesterday and I'm impressed and will definitely be back! $4 for all of us was amazing! So nice to be able to take my kids to a nice place and not be price gouged! I love how you can take your own food and coolers too! Would like to see the high dive open for us adults!
Very clean, and not very busy. Life guards were very attentive.
Open for lap swimming M-F 8a-noon. $3.50 cash only. They don't accept bills larger than $10. Outdoor heated pool. Really nice in Feb. Restroom open for changing/toilets but showers closed. Quite a few leaves in pool but nice place to swim.
Pristine pools. It's a shame they (City?) haven't been able to acquire proper equipment to cool the pools in this summer heat. The leadership with swim programs is definitely lacking. To further elaborate on response: several attempts were made via email, in person, and through participation in attenpting to help the swim program. I have never seen such poorly managed swim meets and fundraising. The communication chain and consistent last-minute changes make it nearly impossible to plan for working families with multiple children that won't think twice about paying fees for a well managed program.
I love it and my kids love it every summer we come to this place and enjoy it!
