Alaskan indoor water park with a lazy river, slides and a wave pool.
The water at H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark is consistently heated to a comfortable 84 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius), ensuring a pleasant experience for swimmers year-round.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the waterpark are mixed. While many, especially children, report having a fun time, there are consistent criticisms regarding its condition and value. Many visitors describe the facility as outdated, needing significant renovation, and being a 'shell of what it used to be' since its 1990s opening. A common complaint is that the price is too high, especially considering that several attractions, including slides and the wave pool, are frequently closed for maintenance or due to low staffing. Concerns about sanitation (e.g., bandaids) and limited parking were also raised. However, some still found it 'well worth it' for a couple of hours, praising specific features like the nice toddler section and the lazy river. There's a strong sentiment that a much-needed revamp could easily help the waterpark regain popularity, especially as it holds a monopoly as the only one in Alaska.

It’s like a plunge, community pool, the price is OVERPRICED I’m from Arizona and they don’t even charge 30$ per person. There was bandaids everywhere kind of unsanitary, there are 3 slides only two open or one open at a time. The parking is limited only like 10 spots half of which I’m sure the lifeguards take The girls at the desk were nice to my mother though
We had such a blast both times we went even though one of the smaller slides and the wave pool weren't working and were under construction. Only had a couple hours to swim but it was well worth it!!
It's fun place kids enjoyed it. It could use some love and care, but for the most part the kids don't mind, honestly kids just want to play in the water period. We will definitely be coming again.
I’m sure all of us Anchorage/Alaska inhabitants have been here at least once and I just wanted to give an update. My partner and I thought it’d be super fun to come here on a date just because we both haven’t been since we were much younger. We had a fantastic time! Obviously the place is pretty outdated considering it was first opened in the 90s, but overall it’s still pretty fun to just swim around for about 2 hours. Because they’re low on staff, most of the machines are only on at specified times. It’s definitely a shell of what it used to be. I’m hoping they can soon revamp the whole place because this DEFINITELY could still be a hot spot if it was updated. Considering it’s the only waterpark in Alaska they have a monopoly and could easily generate popularity again with a remodel.
Overall, it was a little spendy for not having all the rides running while we were there for the afternoon. There is a pretty nice toddler section that our little guy enjoyed. They also gave him his own floaty for the lazy river which he loved.
