Sprawling pool with lap lanes and a shallow area for children.
Specific pool temperatures for Glenlake Pool are not consistently published, as it is an outdoor public pool. Typically, such pools in the Atlanta area are not heated and their temperature naturally fluctuates with ambient air temperature, making them refreshing during the summer season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, with several positive aspects alongside significant drawbacks. Many users praise the large size of the pool, the presence of lifeguards, ample lounge chairs, and the convenience of being able to bring outside food and drinks. The designated adult-only swim times are also appreciated. Staff customer service from specific individuals is noted as excellent and professional. However, a major recurring complaint is the unsanitary and filthy condition of the restrooms, often described as smelly and not cleaned. There are also concerns regarding staff working conditions, with one review highlighting an African-American employee working in extreme heat with only a fan, while another employee had air conditioning, raising questions about fairness. Other criticisms include inconsistent pool cleanliness (some found it clean, others a little dirty), confusing policies regarding floats, and parking difficulties, especially on weekends.

The stars are for the two young lady’s doing a great job. I was sadly disappointed by the restroom appearance and smell. Also, the fact that the African-Americanyoung lady at the front only had a Fan and it was 91° and at the other end there was a nice non-African-American young lady? Working in a air conditioned office after going to the bathroom realizing it wasn’t in the condition for changing my clothes to go for a swim I asked if I was able to get a refund because of the unsanitary conditions. I was told that I needed to email someone, I just opted to donate that amount and leave this review instead I have been in the area for years. I’ve come there I’ve walked the cemetery grounds for exercise I always thought of this place being very decent. To actually see the type of filth and no smell of any cleaning agent, and again the young lady working with only a fan and that heat. Need to do better for real. She was a very apologetic and professional individual, and we all deserve the same fairness I didn’t see where she had any water some other people Where? complaining about something that went on inside the pool area. This young lady was handling it like she actually owned the business. Her customer service skills are impeccable and she deserves better. If that’s all you have to offer her is a fan that just circulates the hot heat. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should at least have a portable AC for this area. Go to this pool at your own risk, If you care about who you are, you we don’t deserve to pay to be in a dump! 😩🥵👎🏽
Clean and well maintained. There is parking, but it's hard to get on the weekend. There are also 3 picnic tables but if you need one, it's better to reserve one. My only complaint is that the pool isn't 25 yards wide for swimming laps.
The pool was little dirty. They have a lot lounge area. It’s on their policy “avoid large float that lifeguard’s can’t view you” but they don’t allow any kinda of float that’s ridiculous. There’s not plenty of parking.
Free parking. Easy to find. Close to gym Clean. Opens at 10 and closes at 6pm. Locker rooms to change clothes. Tables to eat. Chairs to recline. Stay out of the lap lane. Pool is huge. Area for kids and deep end 8' for adults. Lifeguards on duty. You can bring food and snacks. They don't sell food. Great location. Swim here then head down to square pub or raging burrito to eat. Mixed crowd of people. All ages. I would recommend this to someone wanting to chill and swim.. kids are loud buy that's expected. Oh and once a hour there's an adult only swim. So for 10 mins all kids out of pool. Smart. Helps parents keep track of their little ones... and the water is clear and clean.. great place overall...
Massive pool (1.5 ft up to 6 ft depths) with lifeguards on post. Lap lanes in center of pool as well. RATE is $5 daily entry fee, plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, picnic table area. Outside food and coolers allowed!! Easy access off Church St. in Decatur, with street and lot parking available. Special designated "adult swim" times allotted through out the day. All in all, a great public pool. Only 4 stars due to dirty restroom. Will return.
