I would not recommend the infant swim lessons at the Dover Indoor Pool. It is a whole lot of "The Wheels On The Bus" and limited actual swim skill building. Not to mention the pool is freezing for a pool that is supposed to be heated. Babies were always shivering and today my poor daughter turned purple from how cold it was (in less than 15mins of being in the pool). They do not properly regulate the water, especially for a pool that has small children in it on a regular basis. Not worth the risk in my personal opinion and not worth the money. Go elsewhere if you want your child to actually learn something and not freeze.

The indoor pool is an awesome asset for Dover. I wish they had more/better hours, but hopefully that changes soon. For most of the people complaining about hours, they post them all on their website publicly.

Unfortunately this place hired very rude lifeguards. we used to enjoy this place a ton, used to have very nice staff. I get it, if I was 45 working as a lifeguard on a weekend I would be just as unhappy about my life as these two act. We will be swimming at the works from now on. the older faculty /over zealous staff have made dover indoor pool no longer a fun family place to go on weekends.

The pool is a nice facility. There's a shallow water pool for swimming laps, and a deep water pool for diving. There are multiple life guards on duty, which relieves any safety concerns. The pool also closes and hosts special events like a scuba diving course that I attended. The facilities are kept cleaned, and there is ample lockers and changing spaces available. I'd recommend visiting this pool.
