Stayed April 25 and July 25. April stay we had 3 different rooms, our original room was up stairs and elevator was not working. 2nd room had ceiling leak and flood, moved to 3rd room that was newly updated. We still had Marijuana smell in our room, outside could use TLC, but room 108 was sufficient for us. We love small older motels. So with that said we reserved room 108 for July. Arrived at 9pm and were told our room wasn't available. We had 3 toddlers and been driving in a jeep for 18 hours. We then got room 104. Talked to manager Monica and basically she didn't care, she can move rooms. Although I called and spoke to them days before arriving to double check room 108 was confirmed. I did find out room 108 is the ONLY updated room. We smelled Marijuana daily, killed roaches in the room, I had to clean with disinfectant wipes, dead bug in fridge, no water pressure in shower, ceiling in shower had mold and what appeared to be hair, toilet barely flushed, floors dirty. No bowls. Only 4 plates, 4 glasses, silverware drawer was full of crumbs, no broom in room which is needed because sand, I could continue but I think you get my point. Day 3 we were awake in middle of the night hot because air went out. Office said will be fixed by 1230. 300pm it's now 83 in our room. Now air will not fixed until the next week. We did check out and management did refund 1 night. I understand they can not help the air issue. I'm thankful for last night refund. What my issues were, we reserved a specific room, double confirmed room 108 arrived and no one cared. I explained you will not keep loyal returning customers treating them in this manner. The motel had several empty rooms. Plus the cleanliness of the room is a major concern. Office staff and housekeeping staff actually agreed with my concerns. Maybe explains why we have different employees from our April stay.

We decided to book here last minute and do not regret it! The room was had a king size bed, was on the top floor and overlooked the ocean. Our room was freshly cleaned and huge, it was more than enough room to relax and unwind for our last night at the beach. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and the only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower! The room was WELL worth the price given the cost alone. The front desk gal was super friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay here again!

this place deserves NO stars.. we arrived to Daytona on 06/28. We saw the outside of this motel but still held hope that atleast our room would be cleaner than the outside. We walked in and got our keys, the gentleman at the front desk was not very welcoming and seemed like he hated being there… but I can’t blame him. We got our keys, and went to the room. We opened the door and a horrible smell immediately hit our noses. As we got to walking around we of course wanted to see the ocean… as we had an ocean front view on the third floor. We went to the balcony door and there was absolutely NO LOCK! not even a sliding bar so the door wouldn’t open. Since I had a 3 year old that was a major safety concern. As my son was also walking around exploring he opened a drawer in the dresser. Guess what was on EDGE of the dresser a TV which just about fell on him but luckily I caught it. That tv of which did not even fit the dresser leaving it unstable and wobbly anytime the dresser was touched. (ANOTHER SAFTEY CONCERN). We went into the bathroom and used it and tried flushing the toilet but it barley had any water pressure. On top of that there was literally BLACK MOLD on the ceiling of the bathroom along with what appears to be the ceiling falling in or a wooden board half on the ceiling covering something. The beds were also caved in, the overall cleanliness was just not there. The room was so dirty, dusty, and smelled horrible. We weren’t even there for an hour and went next door the tropical winds hotel and got us another hotel. Which we had to use all the money we had to get… The place gave us a semi hard time getting a refund as well, we booked through a third party and they have to get the managers approval before giving us a refund. I’ve been on the phone back and forth trying to get in touch with the manager. I was talked to very disrespectfully multiple times but finally on 7/4 when we’re leaving we finally have a refund. Easy to say STAY away from this hotel I am so disappointed and disgusted. We weren’t hoping for anything fancy but atleast clean and no safety issues whatsoever.

Checked in day one. The bathroom was flooded with two inches of water from the AC unit leaking into the room before we got there. They didn't fix it and we had to sleep there for a day. The next day we were told we could move rooms at 3 to one that was not flooding. When we were allowed to move rooms at 4:30 we arrived into a room that had cobwebs and dirt all over the floor and underneath the mattresses. When I investigated further I found bed bugs, one on my neck biting. When I told the desk we were leaving and wanted a refund it was indicated to me that's not happening. This is the worst motel I have ever been to in my life. Go stay at a red roof inn instead.

My stay was wonderful!! Excellent staff-The lady from O'brien, Fl was so nice. I interrupted a staff meeting to check in early and they were so accommodating. I will always stay here when in the area.
