My daughter and I finished the Open Water class here and had a great experience. Karen taught our class and Chad and Suni also helped out at times. The materially was covered extremely throughly and efficiently. They made sure we are proficient at each skill before moving on. Every one at the shop was super helpful and kind and helped with every thing we needed. They have tons of dive opportunities all around the world too. It’s a great dive shop with really nice people.

Came in last minute to get prescription goggles and was soooo happy they had some in stock! Was able to surprise my brother on a trip the next day. Staff was helpful, kind, and quick. Highly recommend! Thank you!!!

This is easily the most disorganized scuba shop I’ve ever dealt with for maintenance. Their staff don’t know what their website says, they don’t know what services they actually do and don’t provide, and it takes a minimum of three staff to get any solid answer. I’ve lived in multiple states and worked with several shops and I have never seen a shop run this poorly. It is frustrating every single time I try to work with them for any regular maintenance on scuba gear. I fully understand not every shop services every brand of gear, but staff never having any clue what they do and don’t offer and constant discrepancies between what’s on their website, what their staff say, and what ends up being true is just unacceptable. From now on, I will absolutely choose to go out of town and find a better, more reliable shop for any maintenance needs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend DJ at High Plains Scuba enough! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I signed up for a private lesson to “try scuba.” DJ is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also super patient and approachable. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver, he makes you feel comfortable and confident in the water. His passion for scuba diving is contagious, and he takes the time to answer every question thoroughly, ensuring you’re prepared and excited for the dive ahead. The equipment was top-notch, and the overall professionalism of the High Plains Scuba team was outstanding. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about making your diving experience unforgettable, DJ is your guy. Thank you for such a memorable “pool adventure” - We can’t wait to come back for more pool time!
