Great community asset. The age-based swim teams are well coached. The facilities are well kept.

This is the home of the best swim team in all of America! Specifically the teams 100 yd butterflyers and 200 yd freestyle swimmers. The coaching staff is some of the best. Matt Oonk current head coach of varsity and pool director, trained under the great Erik Talsma the best coach in Hamilton history. He went to the great college of Depauw as a swimmer. He is one of the top few swimmers coached there at Hamilton. Liz Vandawegue, another amazing swimmer from Hamilton who coaches and teaches at Hamilton, is the assistant coach of the varsity swimmers and head coach of middle school swimming. She did not swim in college but held a long standing record for the 200im. Between these two amazing coaches with their own talented swimming have been able to bless the Hamilton swim program with their own skill. This team may only be d3 but with their student body this is the best team possible. Now the pool. Let’s just say this pool is amazing. The water is perfectly clear the pool is in amazing condition. The walls of the pool are perfect for flip turns and open turns. The bottom is perfectly marked and is easy to tell when to turn. If you want to swim this is where you should go.
