What are people saying (AI review summary)? A parent's two daughters (13 and 12) were denied entry to the Souther Dunes Pool by a young lifeguard who claimed their key cards didn't work due to an alleged HOA missed bill or violation. The parent asserts they have no such issues. The lifeguard was reportedly loud, almost yelling, and dismissive, telling the girls to leave without attempting to understand the situation. This incident ruined the girls' summer fun, leading the parent to strongly advise against this pool due to the lifeguard's perceived lack of understanding and care for children.

While at work I received a phone call from my enraged wife about the Souther Dunes Pool. My wife starts telling about how our two young daughters were disrespected and told they were not allowed in the pool. It was around 10:05 on a Monday my oldest daughter(13 female) and my youngest daughter(12 female) walked up to the gate scanning their key card but as the light turns green. They go to pull the door open and it’s doesn’t open. As they try two more times a lifeguard(15-16 year old female) comes out telling them to go home because their key card doesn’t work. She tells them that they weren’t allowed into the pool because of an hoa missed bill or a violation but we have never had a missed bill, had a late bill or a violation. Instead of taking the time to slow down and ask if they had any problems with the bills. The lifeguard immediately tells (in a loud and almost yelling tone) them they need to leave until my oldest daughter asks why they have to leave. As the lifeguard( she doesn’t really know the problem is because it’s not the bills) tells them which ruins their summer fun. If your looking for a pool with lifeguard who understands and cares about kids don’t go to this one.
