What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is generally considered an excellent and affordable place for families and kids to cool down. It features a main pool, a kids' splash pad, a water house with smaller slides, a lazy river with free floating donuts, and two larger slides (which may incur an extra charge). Facilities include changing areas, bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and ample shade, chairs, and tables. While the entrance fee is fair, some patrons experienced issues with the water pressure on the slides and noted that the posted schedule was incorrect, advising checking online resources for accurate times. Lifeguards take periodic breaks during which the main pool must be cleared, but the splash area remains open.

Excellent place to bring the kids for a fun time to cool down. Entrance fee is not bad at all. Life guards will take 30 minute breaks in which you will have to clear the pool but you can always walk to splash area in the meantime. Not to deep.
Great place to spend an afternoon with the family. They have a kids splash pad area, the main pool, a little water house with little slides for the kiddos, a lazy river and two slides. Entrance fee is fair and there is an extra charge for using the slides (6ft landing). They do provide floating donuts for the lazy river without extra charge. There is also two changing areas/bathrooms and one outdoor shower/rinse off station. There is plenty of shades and chairs for the public. Tables are also available. The only reason why I rated one star less is because the schedule posted is not correct and that's super important. I would advise to check the rec center webpage or the FB page for the correct schedule.
Great service and facilities. The water slides could use a bit more water pressure (several among our group got stuck coming down and we're not overly heavy people). Still, this is a great an affordable option to cool down in South Laredo!
Affordable prices , various life guard , big spaces . My son loves it
