This is by far the cleanest, most professional, and well-run Life Time Fitness I’ve visited outside of the Scottsdale, AZ area. The women’s locker room is immaculate—something I really prioritize in a gym I plan to spend a lot of time in. The personal trainers are top-notch; I had the pleasure (and the pain!) of powering through some challenging workouts with Roman. The equipment is well maintained and spotless, and the staff is always friendly. I haven’t even made it to the pool yet, and I’m already impressed. The café also serves up some seriously delicious smoothies. This location definitely sets the bar—or even exceeds it.
Amenities we pay for CLOSED Again. Outdoor pool slides… “ yeah we just don’t have enough lifeguards. Most of them went back to college and so now we’re trying to manage with our high school lifeguards and who we have left.” Ahh, so you mismanage your staffing level, intentionally, repeatedly, summer after summer, yet there are no reductions in membership fees to account for the lack of amenities… It’s not your member’s problem that you choose to pay low wages to high school and college kids, which increases your profit margin, instead of paying the wage that is required to hire employees to keep your amenities open full-time.
This LifeTime is by far the dirtiest gym I've seen. Very very few people wipe anything down after use. Y'all are gross. The whole place in general is pretty dusty and dirty. The cleaning crew isn't cleaning the machines in general it appears. Other than the cleanliness issue, which should be a top priority at any gym, the employees are nice and the variety of equipment is pretty good. Some of the machines could use a refresh of the vinyl.
I joined a few months ago and while I love the gym itself, the cleanliness (or lack of it) is a huge problem. Machines are visibly dirty, like they haven't been wiped in ages. Several times I've gone into the bathroom only to find no toilet paper or paper towels, and counters left grimy. The pool? Same story, especially on weekends. This is supposed to be a luxury gym, yet it's being run like a cut-rate chain. Actually, I've seen MUCH cleaner at Planet Fitness. Either they don't have enough staff, don't pay them well, or don't train them properly, whatever the reason, the result is obvious. Dirt everywhere. A luxury gym should be spotless. Sparkling. Instead, it feels mismanaged to me. What's worse, they don't seem to listen to feedback. I'm sure someone will post a canned response here about how they "value member concerns," but if the gym actually cared, it would show in the cleaning. There are no better options around here so I will continue to go, but this bothers me a lot and I would tell anyone else before they joined.
I love the size of this center and the variety of equipment options, but why does the music need to be so loud. At least 90% of those working out have their own headsets yet there is weird music playing at the otherwise beautiful outdoor pool all the time. Inside there is also music blaring THEN, on top of what is already playing, when deep base of GTX starts I can feel my lungs spasm. Music is nice but loud music does not promote a better workout, espectially if it's not music that is motivating to you. Please let me work out in peace to my own music.
