This is a clean, well managed, and well maitained facility! I was here to be DJ&MC for a 40th Birthday party for one of the residents, and really enjoyed the surroundings & friendly, helpful staff!
Mastering "Out of order" signs. Gym equipment, hot tube, swimming pool and even the first aid kit. No repair forecast is ever given.
It’s a very nice place to hang out. However, sometimes there is an employee that seems to be the maintenance guy or facility manager that is rude to people, he asks very rudely for the mission bay ID card and also he talks to people with a rude attitude if you were to go in an area that he doesn’t like people going. Security is nice and helpful always.
I’m putting this review in regards to an incident that occurred, October 23, 2022 at around 12-2PM. The security guard on duty, my friend and I all had a disagreement regarding the way he spoke to both my friend and I. During this, he said he was going to call authorities, his lawyer and will be using the footage taken by the camera in-front of the club house because he felt threatened. Although we never once threatened him, the guard said a few things that were truly disrespectful like at the end of talking to us he said “he hopes he gets fired and is tired of dealing with the insane people of mission bay.” We also did not file an incident report as he said he was the only guard on duty and he said he is the boss. I attempted to get help from the new property managers in regards to this and they said “they can’t do anything about every security guard that upsets residents, there’d be no security guards working.” which is downright awful. A security guards job is to ensure safety in the neighborhood but I never once felt safe in the situation nor do I feel safe going to the club house. The property manager said if i truly wanted any help i have to go to the board, which makes the reviews about them being “cult like” really eye opening. My friend attempted to leave a review and it got deleted, hopefully this one actually stays up as i’ll be documenting this review just incase.
Lived here two years and see nothing but effort to improve. They plan family events, they keep security in mind, they try to keep some structure on on our narrow streets. Kudos to Fred and the others who try to make this a community, not just a place to live.
