The YMCA is such a great community spot for the whole family! They have awesome activities for kids, teens, and adults. The summer camps are amazing, and there are so many fun classes for adults to stay active—all included with the membership. The staff is super kind, caring, and creative, always coming up with new programs and activities both indoors and outdoors. I’ve been a member since 2018, and I absolutely love YMCA Boca Raton!
Absolutely the best summer camp experience we’ve had! The camp was extremely well-organized, and the communication between the entire team was consistently on point. I would 100% recommend sending your little ones here. Sandra Jean Baptiste and her team have been A1 from start to finish. They took the time to understand any medical conditions or allergies our child had, ensuring they were always safe and cared for. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, keeping parents fully informed about everything—from minor injuries to upcoming field trips. It’s truly reassuring to know your child is in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend!
I was very impressed with the YMCA building and what I saw inside upon entering. Everything resonated with me — plenty of vending machines, a ping-pong table, and overall a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and responsive. We were warmly welcomed, everything was explained to us, paperwork was done quickly, and I honestly felt a bit euphoric about the quality of service. We signed our child up for soccer, naturally expecting a similar level of quality on the field itself. Before registration, a staff member offered us a tour, but I declined — seeing such an impressive building, I assumed the soccer field would match the standard. We have significant experience with YMCA in other cities and thought we knew what to expect. However, we were shocked when we arrived for the first practice. Calling it a soccer field is generous — it’s just a lawn, and not even a well-maintained one. In some places there’s no grass at all, just sandy patches. The goals are moved around, there’s no special surface, no lighting — it’s simply not a soccer field. The price we paid here is much higher than what we paid before for access to far better fields — in our previous city we had what I would call professional-level fields (for YMCA standards), with many teams and competitive games. Here, there are only two teams total, so there’s no real competition — you already know your team will either get first or second place. It was honestly disappointing, especially given the cost. I even considered requesting a refund, but my child really wants to play and we don’t have time to look for alternatives right now. However, I can say with certainty that we won’t be enrolling here for the next season. The expected level of youth soccer at this YMCA simply hasn’t been met or justified.
We absolutely love John, the new manager and trainer of the fitness program. He is truly dedicated to helping our 12-year-old… not only by teaching the proper use of gym equipment, but also by encouraging him to believe in himself and build lasting confidence. We could not be more grateful.
Almost punctured my tire... a large iron reinforcement rod is sticking out of the parking lot... I talked about the problem with the administration... 5 months have passed, no one has fixed it... Be careful in the parking lot, guys!
