Clean outdoor pool with strict rules and a friendly staff, geared toward families.
Faber Pool's main and wading pools are typically unheated public outdoor pools. Therefore, their water temperatures are subject to ambient weather conditions and will naturally vary throughout the summer season; specific temperature figures are not generally published.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews consistently highlight significant issues with the facility, primarily centered around rude and unprofessional staff, severe disorganization, and unreasonable rules. Visitors reported staff being unhelpful, yelling, and failing to perform their duties. Disorganization led to extremely long wait times for pool entry, arbitrary closures based on questionable reasons (e.g., a baby vomiting), and a lack of clear systems. Unjustifiable rules, such as not allowing life vests for autistic children, prohibiting baby bags, or demanding specific display of bathing diapers, also contributed to negative experiences. These issues collectively led to frustration, formal complaints, and a strong desire from reviewers to never return.

Rude staff there, I asked a security guard there to give me directions to get school lunch since they now serve them there and he went like HUH?! So I asked him again and he gave me directions and as soon as I walk in to get my lunch, a short lady just stands there and doesn’t do her job to give me my lunch so I decided to try and grab my lunch and she shouts HELLO!!! I was trying to be nice to her and she was still rude to me for no apparent reason like I understand you’re having a bad day but that doesn’t give you the right to be rude and raise your voice at me. Never coming back to this park for any lunch anymore.
Pool looks cool but they don't have a system to let people get in... very disorganized, people has to wait for over 2 hours to get in if the capacity allows depending on lifeguards on site if not has to wait for an other 1:30 hour more to see iffff they can organize!!! Not good at all..
Worst public pool ever. They would not let my autistic son come into the area with a lifevest. I was not allowed to bring in a baby bag. All the people that work here are miserable and rude. The head guy yelled at me as if I was his child. It was very odd. Needless to say, I was so aggravated I ended up leaving before going in the pool. I will never come back.
FORMAL COMPLAINT FILED WITH THE CITY. After waiting in line for more than an hour on several different occasions, staff closed the pool after only 10 minutes stating “baby threw up in the water” which turned out to be a lie. It is common for babies to open their mouth in a pool. This is NOT a reason to close a pool to people who have waited hours to get in. Lifeguard’s are lazy, overweight and do not want to work. This is happens far too often. This is what happens when you put two white life guards in a predominant black neighborhood and they refuse to service the community. An official complaint has been filed with the city. I suggest you save your time and do the same! You’re Welcome.
a great example of corruption. the visiting rules were created by those who have never been to the pool. 15 people of staff are loitering around idle. in 2021 I need to bring MY own padlock in order to leave things. you cannot bring a bathing diaper with you in your bag. they demand it to be shown or to be dressed. a clear example of how people do their job badly.
