What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Venetian Waterway Park is highly regarded for its enjoyable walking and biking trails, which feature a looped path along the water. Reviewers note the concrete trail varies in smoothness but is generally suitable for road bikes. One side of the trail is more secluded and natural, while the main loop offers a pleasant balance of sun and shade, benches, a beautiful mural, and a sheltered picnic area. It's considered a beautiful spot for fishing, picnicking, and is dog-friendly. While parking is plentiful, the primary drawback mentioned is the absence of public restrooms. Bikes are available for rent nearby.

This was a sweet ride! You travel along the water way and it loops so you go on both sides. There is a beutiful Mural, trees marked in remebererance. Shade verses sun is balanced enough to get a break. Benches all along the water. Sheltered picnic area. Only draw back is there is no toilets. Plenty of parking, none marked for handicapped, but do not see it would be a problem. Dogs are allowed. This is a looped path, but there is one cut off I took and then returned to parking via the main road, which had a bike lane.
Loved it! Take a picnic. Nice parks to picnic! Rented bikes nearby. Go early as bikes were charged by the day.
I have walked different sections of the Venetian Waterway Park over the years. Today I was at Venice Toyota for mainly. It was a short walk to get to the park. There was a few bikers. I found a small area where someone created a Turtle habitat. Walking along the water is always enjoyable.
Rode the more inland side of the trail this morning from the train depot to Shemrock park and back. The trail is concrete so fairly smooth, but as smooth as Legacy trail, just slightly more bumpy but perfectly fine even for road bike I was on. This side of the trail likely more secluded and empty, there is also less to see. But once you get closer to Shemrock it's more natural and pleasant. I hope to get a chance to.do.the other side of the wateray next time Im in Venice.
Beautiful spot! Great fishing. I camped in my rv for 2 weeks under that bridge.
