As far as water parks go this was a little lame. It had a lazy river that was nice except it tended to get a little overcrowded. The wave pool that they have we waited for quite a while and never saw any waves in it at all. There wasn't really anywhere to just go swim. And all you can sit at your chaise lounge and order food and drinks that's all you could do you actually had to go pick them up on the other side of the park if you're sitting where we were sitting. Pretty inconvenient to have to go all that way without spilling drinks or food. They have a couple of slides that didn't seem too overwhelming. I did not partake in those but several of the kids around us were complaining that they were lame.
Will definitely come again! The kids has a blast and because it was attached to the resort, it was super convenient. Water felt amazing! Slides were fun. Lines were too long on a weekday but did get more busy on Saturday.
Great experience at Oasis Water Park - the weather was perfect but that was just pure luck, as we booked a private cabana weeks ago and were expecting"norma" May temperatures. Booked a premium island cabana for up to 10 people through Resort Pass - had lots of privacy and very limited foot traffic (which is especially appreciated when you're with an all-adult group and are trying to limit distractions and noise from kids). When you look at the price to just reserve a premium lounge chair, the cabana is a great deal for larger groups. Friends had a blast and I definitely recommend it for summer events like birthdays.
Decent water park but slides sucked, best part was volleyball/basketball courts and hot tub. Lazy river and wave pool were decent. Worth checking out if your spending the day or night there but if your going purely for the water park, there are better water parks around. Extended Version: The water park was also fun except the life guards were less kind and the slides were pretty bad. The long, twisty slide was slow and boring and had no real fun and it was possible to get stuck with the slow water flow. The other two slides were more fun but also kind of frightening and that’s subjective but what’s not is that they are both like 2 seconds long and get water up your pants or into your face even when you cross your legs. They’re not worth the long walk up there and if you accidentally bring your shoes up there the lifeguards toss them down the slide demonstrating a lack of a real process and solution and a clear lack of thinking ahead. The wave pool is decent, the waves aren’t very high probably for the little kids and the waves are kind of infrequent but the volleyball and basketball sections of the pool are very fun and are a big bonus. The hot tub is also nice.
It was good to try. The oasis water park is a bit expensive, but if you stay at the hotel its free entry. There's 3 slides, lazy river, a time kids pool and a splash pad, a wave pool, and a area for a couple water sports. The lazy river is the best, nice and long, it has a couple fountain sprinkles, and a tiny bit of shade. The wave pool is small but fits a couple dozen people if its a busy weekend. Food at the park is really expensive so heads up. There might be people walking around taking orders, but dont expect it. You can reserve cabanas, not worth it unless you have a party or a larger group. There's really tons of seating and you can find seating in shade or umbrellas.
