Quiet, community swimming pool with a snack bar and picnic areas.
Specific, consistently published temperatures for the pools at the Denver Community Pool are not readily available. Like most public community pools, it typically operates at ambient or mildly heated temperatures suitable for recreational use during its seasonal operation.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The community pool receives mixed reviews. Many visitors appreciate it as a nice, relaxing, and family-friendly facility, noting its handicap accessibility, separate toddler pool, BBQ/picnic areas, clean locker rooms, and good snack bar. However, significant negative experiences are reported by several patrons, primarily concerning a strict and reportedly disrespectful female staff member. Complaints include her scolding couples for innocent displays of affection, stopping children from laughing or playing, imposing lengthy and unnecessary swim tests, and speaking inappropriately to kids. Other criticisms include the absence of a diving board and restrictions on flips. While some reviews praise the staff, others found specific interactions with the aforementioned staff member ruined their visit. The facility itself is generally described as well-kept but aging, with suggestions for updates to its features.

Cute basic community pool. Handicap accessible ramp into large pool. A toddler pool is also available. BBQ & picnic areas available. Great staff & snack bar. Clean locker room. Four stars only because the facility- while well kept- is aging. It has a slide and a single fountain in the toddler pool, but there are updates that could be done to improve the facility. All in all a great way to spend a day in Denver.
Nice pool but no diving bord and you aren't allowed to do flips off the side of the pool. So no flips which is ridiculous. I recommend going to a different pool.
Such a nice community pool! Perfect for families. Very relaxing!
I will never, ever go here again! Not sure who this lady is, but she was extremely disrespectful to myself and my partner. Just like other couples around us, we were floating and holding each other. Totally innocent! Well she thought it was appropriate to ask us to let go of each other and remind us that this was a community pool and that we should leave room for Jesus! Not to mention there were countless females walking around with most of their rear ends exposed! Not only was that extremely disrespectful and inappropriate, but it was deeply hurtful. I was having a wonderful day with my family and she ruined that for me and my family. I was well aware of the fact that I was at a community pool! I was planning on coming back, but I will never give them my business again!
Gets two stars because the pool itself isn't bad. The women running it however is. Heaven forbid she hears a child laughing or having fun because she will stop them instantly. The final straw was when she corrected my younger child for hanging on his big brother in the pool. What's the benefit of having a giant for a big brother if ya can't hang on him when your tired. Speaking of a giant big brother, she also corrected my 14 year old for stepping back to far before he dove. He's 6'3 270lbs the entire side walk before the diving area is only two of his size 16 shoe steps, he couldn't run there if he tried or he would be running in place. I can understand the swim test before allowing a younger child in the deep end. I can not however understand how it took an hour and 20 minutes to complete this test when there may have been 10 people at the pool in total. Aside from the fact that I his mother was standing within two feet of him this whole time. Guess parents aren't good enough to watch their own children here. Not to mention the way she spoke to my children was completely inappropriate .
