What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility are quite mixed. Many positive comments highlight it as a fun, peaceful place for families and friends, with a well-maintained pool and a variety of amenities including a baby pool, slides, and courts for tennis, racquetball, and basketball. Staff are often described as friendly and nice, and membership is considered good value. However, significant negative feedback points to issues with staff professionalism, with multiple reviewers citing experiences of unhelpful or 'dumbfounded' staff, poor customer service, and even a perception of staff being under the influence of marijuana. A very serious incident involved a lifeguard reportedly watching a two-year-old nearly drown without intervention. Other complaints include inconsistent rule enforcement, leading to a family being ejected for speaking their mind, and operational inconveniences like early snack bar closures and reduced operating hours.

It’s fun and it’s peaceful should bring your kid here
Too many yelling kids and lackadaisical people behind the counter. Not professional. Seemed like they were smoked up on Marijuana. No customer service skills. Passed the question about price over to another person. That person was dumbfounded. Could smell the pot.
This is the first year I got a member at Laurel Run.. My family & I went to MSA for years until it closed. We had absolutely no problems until a few months into the season. A 16 year old that my 16 years old goes to school with was on watch & watched my two year old daughter drowning. I made eye contact with her as I ran over to get my daughter out of the water and she did nothing but sit there and watch! Now, I take full responsibility.. As a mother yes that is my child and she is under my supervision but if that’s the case, why are you working as a life guard that’s supposed to help and rescue a drowning child??? Let alone another incident involving Aaron Wolfe. I took my two year daughter up the slide (as I have done many times in having this membership) and yes she had her floaty on, but they have NEVER said anything to me until this one day! This life guard wanted me to walk down wet stairs with my two year old daughter and when I prevented an accident and put her down the slide, they kick us out for me speaking my mind and telling her “nobody has ever said anything to me about this”!?!? I am absolutely appalled and won’t be returning to this pool again.
Great place to swim and have fun with your friends. The pool is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. However, the snack bar closes early every day and they just changed there closing hours from 8 to 7 which is disappointing.
People that work here are awesome and very nice. They have a shallow baby pool (which is startling always warmer than their big pool XD) and a regular pool. The bigger pool is kind of split into two sections: a shallow end and a deeper diving well. You can get into the tennis, racquetball, and basketball courts for free. They have a small playground for little kids and a slide. And you can play pingpong right next to the food court! Membership fees aren't THAT cheap but definitely worth it and it's not too expensive to pay the one time fee of being a guest
