The pool at Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool is typically heated to a comfortable temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 26.6 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park is generally described as a large, beautiful, and well-maintained destination offering a wide array of facilities for exercise and recreation. It features abundant trees, scenic views, swimming pools (one noted for its depth suitable for diving), multiple playgrounds (some with unique structures for children), tennis, basketball, and baseball courts, multi-use fields, and a gymnasium. Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the friendly patrons. While the dressing rooms are spacious, a minor inconvenience mentioned is that the showers require constant faucet holding. A significant negative experience reported was a specific instance of inaccurate operating hours provided by an employee for a community pool (Martin Luther King YMCA), leading to disappointment and lack of access.

Nice place to exercise! Plenty of trees around, and many other sports in addition to swimming. The swimming pool is deep enough to practice diving at the beginning. Only don't especially love the showers because you need to hold the faucet all the time. Dressing rooms are enormous. People working there are friendly as well as the rest of the patrons .
Great local park. Plenty of trees, 2 playgrounds, a pool, tennis courts, multi use fields and a gymnasium. Well used by local teams and firefighters for exercise and relaxation. Well maintained and clean. I frequent it weekly for my 10,000 step walks even though it is not huge. Just right for a neighborhood park!
This is beautiful great scenery at the top of a walkway the park is full of adventures for children. The structures I haven't never seen plus its a recreation center so it has a pool, basketball, baseball and tennis courts. This park is giant. Good place to walk around for exercise.
I received false information from someone who works for the Martin Luther King YMCA I was told they were open on Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 for swim and it was a $4 fee. So I arrived today in hopes of getting in a therapeutic swim and they were closed with a note on the window saying they did not know when they would be open. I was very disappointed because I had just received information from an employee of Martin Luther King swimming pool that they were open on certain days and certain times so I went up there based off of the information that I received. It's really a shame to have such an awesome pool in the local community but cannot use it. Very sad sad.
A large and pretty park. The staff at the tennis club were super helpful. Nice to see folks just sitting with friends and relaxing. Check out this great park!
