My family goes to Lincoln pool out of necessity on hot summer days. For the most part it is a good experience. I understand safety is paramount, but the staff can be a bit sensitive and overreact to children playing in the pool with toys like water guns or water toys. Another complaint would be they are only open for a short period of time. The pool is only open for a month in June, although hot summer days in Manteca go into July and August, leaving more to be desired. Luckily, they brought back the umbrellas at the picnic tables after several requests and complaints of no shade for the children to get out of the blazing heat when making everyone get out of the pool for lifeguards to take a break and rotations what feels like every 30 minutes. I hope they get more staff to keep the pool open longer, and they remodel the pool with all that Measure Q money that was already allocated for the new police station.

I signed up my daughter for swim class at Lincoln pool and two women that were her instructors called her retarded pointed and laughed. My daughter is autistic. They have no respect for children with disabilities. Also Manteca Rec would not issue a refund. I left that day and will never be back.

I give it a 1 star because the online information as far as when it's open is not accurate! It's nice weather and it's closed on a Sat even tho it says it's open! My kids were so excited to swim. 😔 not ok... this is the 2nd time this has happened for us!

The pool and the life guards are absolutely great. The shady characters that hang out near the public restrooms are not so great.
