Member-exclusive venue featuring a six-lane pool, a dive well, and a wading area.
Specific, consistent pool temperatures for the Ben Franklin Swim Club are not publicly advertised. As an outdoor, seasonal facility, its pools primarily rely on natural solar warming. Water temperatures will naturally fluctuate with ambient weather conditions, generally being cooler early in the season and warming up as summer progresses. There is no indication of actively heated pools to a specific, maintained degree.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews for BFSC offer a mixed perspective, highlighting excellent physical facilities and staff, but severely criticizing management. Positively, the pool is consistently praised for being nice, clean, and well-maintained, featuring lap lanes, high dives, and a baby pool. Reviewers appreciate the beautiful, lush grounds, playground equipment, pavilions, and a well-stocked concession stand. The club is described as family-friendly with activities for teens and adults, boasting a fantastic lifeguard staff and active swim/dive teams. However, the overarching negative theme is the "terrible" and "unprofessional" management, marked by poor communication and a lack of accountability. Specific complaints include management failing to honor rental agreements, last-minute cancellations, and being unresponsive to inquiries regarding refunds (such as bond payments and membership fees), which in one case, remained unresolved for five months. Membership costs are also noted as steep. Due to these significant management issues, some reviewers strongly advise against using the pool for rentals or even joining, recommending alternative local clubs for a better overall experience.

BFSC is my happy place. Fantastic lifeguard staff. Beautiful grounds. Clean pool. Family friends but fun for teens and adult events are hosted too. Highly recommend!
Pool is nice and clean, management is terrible. I used this pool for several years for lifeguard training and every year something went wrong. From not honoring correct rents space, cancelling agreed upon days last minute (had a full class), and having no one show up to open the pool on the first day of a lifeguard certification class (had another full class). The weirdest part is there is no accountability or remorse. If you dare question why you’re getting screwed over, they act as if it’s your fault. I was told by several other instructors to avoid this pool and it’s clear why. If you’re looking to rent… don’t use this pool. This is the only pool in my 18 years of running lifeguard training that I tell everyone to avoid.
Love the pool. My kids have a blast. There are a few lap lanes and 2 high dives. It's an easy decision to sign up year after year.
My wife and I have been very disappointed with the lack of response and overall communication from Ben Franklin. After being members there for a year, we relocated out of the area to pursue professional opportunities. This came very last minute and my wife and I, following the deadline of the membership application, had already purchased a season membership. If you don't know, the membership price is quite steep at $675 for a standard family. Additionally, you must pay an initial bond of $525, plus a work bond of $50. On top of that, you add a $35 application and you get to roughly $1,300 the first year you sign up. At the time of our decision to move, we had already paid the $675 for our second year membership. On their website, it is advertised that that one will be "entitled to a refund of your bond payment upon leaving the club". As of today (5 months later), we have yet to get our bond back. Given that our family left prior to being able to enjoy the pool for our 2nd summer, we asked for a refund of our membership fee as well which seemed pretty reasonable to us. Again, nothing to this day. It has now been over 5 month and we still haven't received any of our money back from BF. To make matter worst, the managing staff have been VERY UNPROFESSIONAL about getting back to us with clarity. Emails and calls are left unanswered, conveniently, and there has been NO EFFORT to get back to us with a clear explanation of the current status of our reimbursement. Based on my experience with BF, I have to recommend to go to The Willows (up the street) or the Lawrenceville Swimming Association near by where you will get, at the very least, a much better experience in terms of communication and respect.
Very nice pool surrounded by lush green grass. They have both a 1 meter and 3 meter spring board, 25 meter pool and baby pool. Ben Franklin sports a large and active swim and dive team. Various playground equipment and pavilions surround the area as well. To top it all off, the well stocked concession stand makes this a great treasure for a community pool.
