Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. This is not just a hotel room. It's a small apartment with fully equipped kitchen. We loved it. We were on a very brief trip for a funeral and did not take advantage of any of the resort activities but it definitely looked like a place I would like to return to.
Great family vacation, especially with a baby and toddler. Lots to do and plenty of swimming. My toddler loved the room, especially the jacuzzi tub. Just watch for spiders in your room/on the bed. No biggie given the wooden location.
You can’t even bring in a your own cup in to the water park to refill inside. You HAVE to purchase food and water from the waterpark. But they do allow the lifeguards and staff to bring in their own cups it’s only the customer that can’t. It is the summer in Texas. It gets hot, regardless of if the water park is indoors or not. If I want to have a metal cup with ice to keep my water cold. I SHOULD be able to. If I want to spend my money staying at the resort, paying more money to go to the water park I should be able to bring my own metal cup in to refill. Rooms and pools are clean location was really pretty. Never in my life did I think a cup rule would determine if I was going to come back or not.
My family has been coming here for years. The property is now run down and dirty. Rooms are spacious but filthy—hair in the showers. Shower curtains are moldy and stained. Blood on the comforter. Cobwebs everywhere. Pink mold on the kitchen sprayer. Standing water outside the room is from a water leak. Just gross! The grounds are maintained to a minimum. Staff speed through the parking lots. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Lots of activities. Many without shade cover. I wouldn't trust the water park for its cleanliness. Overall disappointed with our stay. Spending time with family was great!
Last minute spring break plan. Staffs are extremely helpful and flexible, absolutely high five. Nestled among trees and lakes, peaceful and tranquil. I put up a hammock on the large balcony to sunbath🤩 reading books, hearing bird chirping, watching squirrels 🐿️, hot tea, coffee ☕️… Nearby lake is the real treasure. Arm length long bass, my son had a blast. We started catch and release Towards the end of the Springbreak - couldn’t eat fish anymore 🤠 The resort has an indoor water park. We didn’t make it, too busy fishing. Just the perfect spot for the whole family.
