Outdoor water park with slides, a zero-depth entry area, and a lap pool, plus a concession stand.
Specific pool temperatures for the Maca Aquatic Center are not publicly available. However, as a community recreational pool, the water is generally maintained at a comfortable swimming temperature during its operational season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are largely mixed, with a strong lean towards negative experiences, particularly for non-members. Common frustrations include unclear and inconsistently enforced entry policies for non-members (often leading to long waits in extreme heat without shade), unprofessional and inconsistent lifeguard behavior, and inconvenient adult swim breaks that force children out of the water. Many visitors reported poor communication, with unanswered phone calls and unexpected denials of entry due to capacity or changing rules. Hygiene concerns were raised regarding an employee's actions and a pool incident. Other issues mentioned were limited seating (requiring guests to bring their own chairs), cash-only concessions, and unreliable vending machines. Positively, some guests noted clean water, reasonably priced concessions, and clean restrooms. A long-term member found the facility 'awesome' but suggested dedicated membership-only days.

My family and I were visiting from out of town to cool off on a hot summer day. Members get to come in as soon as they open at 11am. Non Members are not allowed in until 12pm. That was not mentioned on the website. We tried to wait in the shade across the way, near the playground. We came on a Mondy. It was very very hot. When we went back at 1145am there was a line formed. There was no shade to wait in while it was over 90 degrees and a higher heat index. My son who has special needs began to cry. We also had a 1 year old who needed to be in the shade. The next thing that was upsetting is the unprofessionalism from the life guards. I had a question for the lifeguard and she completely ignored me. Then some life guards were flexible with rules and others were not. It felt like every hour or so all the kids had to come out so 18 and over folks to could be in the water. Not fun, when it's over 90 and there are small kids and no shade. Then some life guards were fine with the kids hanging there feet in water (to cool off) and other life guards kept blowing whistle to every kid to get there feet out of water. You need to have cash at the concession stand. Also don't trust the vending machine with snacks. I wished I would've gone to water works instead.
Limited seating first come, first serve. Bring your own chairs. Clean water Concession reasonably priced.. I watch an employee coughing into her hand and DID NOT wash her hands afterward.
They change their hours and pick and choose when non residents can go. Never answer the phones, drive 30 mins to get there to be told we can't get a pass because they WERE at capacity yet half the ppl left because someone pooped in the pool, people were still swimming yet they wouldn't let anyone in. Place is a joke. Don't think I'll be bringing my kids back. This is the second time I showed up there after them not answering and being denied entry. Last time I had to pay a member to add us to their list so my son could swim. Dumb rules.
Took my Grandsons and waited for an hour til they would open only for them only members where aloud in and we would have to wait another hour. Even though my daughter asked and was told we could enter at 11 by one of the workers. I will never go there again or buy a membership.
Been a member for years. This place is awesome . Clean restrooms etc. only complaint I wish they had a membership only day like Sunday. Instead of during the week. And maybe the last week of closing for the season
