What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool generally receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, affordability ($2-$3, card only), and spacious, uncrowded environment. It features a diving area (up to 10ft), a large 4ft deep section, and a splash pad, with excellent life vests provided. Facilities include picnic tables with umbrellas and clean restrooms, and parking is noted as easy. However, significant drawbacks include poor handicapped accessibility (long path from parking) and a single pool entrance starting at 4ft deep, which causes congestion for non-swimmers. Some reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with loud music creating an "inconsiderate vibe" and concerns about lifeguard visibility and attentiveness, though others found staff friendly and attentive. There is also little tree cover for shade.

The pool is nice! It has a small dedicated area for diving, and a large open area that’s only about 4 feet deep. There’s a large splash pad. There are 6 picnic tables with umbrellas. The restroom was clean. They have life vests available. Entrance fee is $3-$2, card only. Only negative: it’s not very handicapped accessible. There is a ramp, but it’s a very long path from the parking lot.
Just a homeschool mom exploring the county facilities and here’s what I found: The facilities were ok (seating, umbrellas etc) and the staff were nice. One stair entrance to the whole pool that starts at 4’0 so all the littles and non swimmers were congregating (clogging) the entrance/exit. Did I mention water level STARTS at 4’0 However like all Dekalb pools they provide excellent life vests I did not appreciate the vibe the staff was creating with the loud music. I found that pretty inconsiderate. It appears that they have undercover life guards because after the camp kids left I could not spot one. After about 35 minutes I saw a couple of life guards at the window (way on the opposite side of the deep end). Then one disappears behind the desk to return to the all important task of scrolling which is what they were doing at the desk when I arrived. I did peep Mr. Handsome look up form his phone occasionally from the window to look on the swimmers left in the pool.
Best pool I’ve been to this summer
Super clean, the waters were really clear too. Not much tree cover so you get the maximum amount of sun on a clear day. Has a diving board and a max depth of 10ft on one end, but the majority of the pool is 4ft-ish deep. Set your GPS to the park / library for proper parking.
My family has loved this affordable pool for many, many years. Large pool that is never too crowded. Easy parking as well. Lifeguards are friendly and attentive.
