What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews overwhelmingly praise the White Oak Old Course, often giving it 5 stars. Key highlights include the exceptional quality and consistency of the greens (described as the best played all year), a remarkably fast pace of play (3 hours 15 minutes), and a very friendly staff and members. Reviewers noted the course's excellent overall maintenance, good sand in bunkers, and clean on-course restrooms. While minor issues like shaggy tee boxes and ant mounds were present, they did not detract from the positive experience. The Old Course is characterized as fair but challenging, requiring precise tee shots due to its tree-lined layout, and is considered by some to be the best 18-hole course south of the city. Many reviewers expressed intent to return. The Seminole Course at White Oak is also briefly mentioned as a 'hidden gem' with a links-like, low-country feel, making great use of a creek.

White Oak - Old Course - 5 stars for 3 reasons: 1. The greens were the best I’ve played this year. 2. The round was 3:15 - wow. 3. Everyone else came in contact with was friendly. So, the course wasn’t in perfect shape but it was really, really good. A few tee boxes were over-seeded and shaggy and they do have several ant mounds on the course but nothing that detracted from the day. Every bunker had good sand, the greens were consistent (and great), the course was well maintained and the on-course restrooms were clean. This is my first time playing the old course and I quite enjoyed the round. I think the course is fair but challenging in that you do have to be in the right position off of most tees or you will be penalized. The course isn’t tight but they have lots of trees. The staff was very warm and friendly as were the members I interacted with as well. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
I attended this event with work. Very nice course and awesome staff!
Hidden gem in Newnan. Played the links-like Seminole course. Like low country and in the best of ways. Great use of the creek throughout!!
You have to play The Old Course when you get the opportunity, best 18 holes south of the city!
Nice older course. Played the old course for a charity tourney. Will def be back to play again.
