The competition pool at Kedron Aquatic Center is maintained at 80-81 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 26.7-27.2°C). The leisure pool is kept at a warmer 84-85 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 28.9-29.4°C) for recreational comfort.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool receives mixed reviews, primarily due to its very strict rules. Many visitors find the ban on floaties and pool noodles (with only official Coast Guard life vests being allowed) to be excessive, leading to children's disappointment and impacting enjoyment. Some also reported inconsistent rule enforcement and felt the price was not justified given the restrictions. On the positive side, the pool is frequently praised for its cleanliness, excellent management, and the professionalism of its knowledgeable, polite, and diligent lifeguards. It offers a smaller pool for young children and a larger 4-8ft pool often set up for lap swimming, with lifeguards present at all times. Practical details include no food or drink on the pool deck (though outside tables are available), daily pricing ($6 for in-county, $12 for out-of-county) which requires ID, and reports of it being uncrowded on Sundays.

Terrible place for kids to swim at because the rules are just so incredibly strict, i watched 4 kids and parents get pulled aside because they werent allowed to have floaties, apparently floats are a "false sense of security" and are not allowed unless they are an official coast guard life vest. Even if the kids were in the pool with parents it didnt matter. The kids even started crying because they felt sad without their toys and floats. Even pool noodles aren't allowed. Honestly so strict and unnecessary and took the fun out of a pool trip. Better off going to another pool with nice staff who care about you and your child's safety AND enjoyment
First time and wasn’t worth the price. If I have to obey all the RULES everyone else should too. I guess the lady that had fins and snorkels could break the rules.
The cleanest, best managed pool you’ll find. Knowledgeable, polite and apparently well trained lifeguards who take their responsibilities seriously. Thank-you!
There's a smaller pool for the little ones. No floaties allowed. The larger pool is 4-8ft deep. Usually it's set up for lap swimming. Lifeguards are at both pools at all times. Bathrooms inside. No food/drink allowed on pool deck. But there are tables right outside the gate that you can use. Daily price is $6/in-county...$12/out-of-county. Be prepared to show your ID. We went on Sunday & the place wasn't crowded at all.
Nice pool to swim. Not fast but nice. The teams there are great.
