What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews highlight a well-regarded facility, often praised for being open all year, having nice staff, and offering good amenities like a workout pool with lap lanes, a water slide, and a water mushroom for children. Visitors appreciate the ample shade from large trees, cleanliness, and the fact that it's rarely crowded. Some points of concern or clarification include an initial confusion about payment methods (cash-only despite a website indicating cards), the requirement of a fee ($3 for adults, $2 for children), and a strict height requirement for the water slide that can exclude younger, capable swimmers. Despite minor issues, many describe it as a great place, especially for families and those looking for fitness.

Open all year. Great little pool to get your workout in. Very nice staff and facilities.
On the website it says cash or card but its cash only. Will update my review when we can get in. :)
I visited here in March. I took a bus and then had to walk so it bummed me when they informed me I had missed the free pool charge time by a few days. I came back today. The experience fulfilled. I don't remember swimming. Maybe the last time I swam was 20 years ago. Today I succeeded at using the pool. I didn't do anything fancy, head poms, they I loved my experience.. A treat!
This is a great little facility in North Austin. Recently taken over by the City of Austin you must pay $3 for adults and $2 for children. The water slide and the mushroom keep the kids going for hours and the lap lanes are great for fitness. The park is relatively shaded and a great place to spend the afternoon. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
Love this pool! Nice kids area with a water mushroom and large lap pool area. Also has a slide, though I wish they would let kids under 48 inches use it if they can swim. My liitle guy is a good swimmer, but they say he's too short, even though he's 7. It has huge trees for shade, well-maintained, and never crowded! The life guards are very friendly too.
