What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Brooks Pool are mixed. Many praise the swim lessons, highlighting excellent and patient instructors (such as Whitney and Blayne) and superb staff, which led to increased confidence for adult swimmers and effective learning for children. However, a major recurring complaint is the inaccuracy of posted operating hours, with multiple visitors reporting long drives only to find the pool closed or operating under different schedules than advertised (e.g., open only to clubs until 2 PM). The pool is described as small but tidy, and some visitors noted strict rules regarding food and beverages, even at designated picnic areas.

I drove several miles to bring My family swimming here and it isn't open? It's Tuesday 3:30pm
My daughter (5) and I (33) are finishing up swimming lessons. The instructors (Whitney and Blayne) are so good. I'm blessed to have met them and I can swim with confidence now! My daughter isn't afraid of the water but is still learning! They are so patient.
Brooks Pool is small but tidy. BREC Rules say you can't eat in the pool or at the edge of the pool. However, we were told food and beverage is not allowed at the picnic tables under the covered pavilion either.
2019 Swim Lessons are da bomb. The staff is superb. I suggest anyone walk young kids take advantage of this free service provided by the city
The hours on the website are definitely wrong. I drove an hour and a half to get to the only “public “pool in our area to find out that they are only open to clubs until 2 PM. Somebody needs to fix the hours on this website.
