What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this hotel are highly mixed. On the positive side, guests appreciated comfortable and clean rooms, often describing it as a wonderful resort particularly suitable for families with children due due to fun areas, and praised the kind, hospitable owners and great service. However, significant drawbacks were frequently highlighted. Several guests reported issues with room quality, including unpleasant odors (dirty socks, musky, moldy, smoke) and maintenance problems like broken bathroom tiles and wobbly toilets. The pool's very limited hours (Thursday-Sunday, 2-8 pm) were a major disappointment for families. Housekeeping received strong criticism for being inconsistent – some rooms were not cleaned during multi-day stays, yet staff were described as excessively loud and disruptive in hallways early in the mornings and in the breakfast area, greatly affecting guests' peace and ability to rest. Inconsistent air-conditioning in an older hotel was also noted.

Loved the room. But probably will never come here again because the pool hours are only Thursday through Sunday 2-8pm. We were there Sunday , Monday , Tuesday and checked out Wednesday , had 2 children who wanted to swim but could not !
I was so disappointed with this hotel! One of rooms smelled like a dirty socks and very musky moldy and the other room smells like someone smoked in it and the bathroom tile was broken around the toilet. The toilet actually rocked when you sat down! We would be laughing if it wasn’t over $120. A night! The response from the front desk “ we’ll tell house keeping” ☹️
We stayed here in Lake George with a group of 20–30 people and had a great experience! The place was clean and comfortable, and the owners were incredibly kind and hospitable. Highly recommend!
Wonderful resort i must say, especially if you're coming along with your kids and family. Fun areas for kids to enjoy and also great service. Had a great time there.
It's an older hotel. Sometimes the air-conditioning works, and sometimes not... we had to call maintenance for it. There is no housekeeping at all! Not once did they clean the room during our 4 day stay. There is a sign in the room that says they will clean periodically... yet, at 7:45AM you can hear housekeeping yelling up and down the halls, saying who checked out and what rooms are still occupied tapping on the doors with their key cards yelling,"HOUSEKEEPING "...They yell and talk so loudly to each other that you can't get back to sleep. I had to open my door and ask them to lower their voices, as we had a 10 hour drive back home and needed that extra hour of sleep. So if rest is important to you, don't stay here. Next, better eat breakfast early and leave before 9:00. This is when they turn the breakfast room into a huge break room for the staff... carrying on ... yelling across the room for each other as if they were at a soccer game. It feels like housekeeping is the thorn in the side of this hotel. They're no work, all play. Management should see and hear what customers see. I couldn't wait to get back home to sleep and for peace.
