We visited Great Wolf Lodge in Concord with my husband, my mom, and our two kids (ages 6 and 2), and overall, we loved it! The resort has such a fun atmosphere for families, and our 6-year-old had the time of her life exploring everything the lodge has to offer. Pros: Renting a cabana at the water park was absolutely worth it! Having our own space to relax, store belongings, and recharge made the experience so much more enjoyable. The water park itself was a huge hit—clean, lively, and full of activities that kept us busy for two full days. Things that could be improved: *The TVs in the rooms really need to be updated to smart TVs so there are more entertainment options. *The putt-putt course is in need of a major renovation. *There aren’t as many options for younger toddlers (our 2-year-old didn’t have as much to do compared to our older child). There are only two spots in the waterpark that he could really go in and enjoy it. *The queen beds felt a bit on the smaller side. *The rooms get very dark at night—if you’re traveling with little ones, I recommend bringing a night light. All in all, we’d definitely recommend it for families, especially with school-age kids. With a few updates, this place could easily be a five-star experience!
My family and I recently stayed and had a five-star experience from start to finish. The rooms were impeccably clean and felt very comfortable, which is always a top priority for us. The water park itself is truly amazing. With a huge variety of slides and attractions, there was something for everyone in our group, from the little ones to the adults. The wave pool was a huge hit, and we spent hours splashing around and enjoying the fun. The heated pools meant we could swim no matter the weather, which was a huge bonus. Beyond the water park, the resort has so much to offer. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility, including the amazing fitness center. We also loved the convenience of having three different restaurants right on the premises. We never had to leave the property for a great meal. To top it all off, the parking lot was spacious and felt very safe, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. This is a perfect family getaway, and we are already planning our next trip back!
The service at check in was great. He was patient and courteous. The young ladies when entering the water park were sweet and kind a well as the ladies at the gift shop/ towel area all nice and professional. When enter the water park that's when the nice, courteous, and professional staff left the building. The pool staff with exception of one were rude didn't seem to want to be there, one was outright disrespectful to me. It cost to much to be treated that way. The carpet needed some TLC and so did the room we stayed in. We found a discounted rate. I hate to see someone pay some of the high prices and get treated that was. It was also a bit cheesy in my opinion. This was my first time and probably my last but I expected more, I thought it was bigger and had more water park options. The food was expensive. I understand when going to place like this for food to be high. This was next level high in my opinion. We dined out and brought food.
First time visiting for my son’s birthday. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. We used the kiosk to check in, tricky at first but took no time to figure out. Our room was awesome! Kids loved the bunk bed. Water park was a blast! We only had one issue which staff went above and beyond to handle. Of course things are going to be pricey.. that’s anywhere you go. We will definitely be returning.
It's pricey, but it's worth the visit. If you're a Veteran or first responder, make sure you use their discount that never expires. I appreciate businesses that show appreciation for veterans by offering significant discounts. The staff there is INCREDIBLE, and the lifeguards are incredibly tuned into their surroundings. As a parent, it's great to have an additional person serious about protecting little ones, and the lifeguards that worked on 9.05.25 deserve accolades for a job well done! BTW, registered service dogs are allowed everywhere except the pool area.
