So clean!!!!!!!! I like the lane pool (7-8 ft deep) but friends prefer the warm pool, which is only 3ft deep, so good for exercise. Not good for swimming. Hot tub, steam and sauna available. Locker rooms large with many showers. Lots of helpful people. Lifeguards are super focused with supporting staff to answer questions and on deck support so lifeguards monitor the swimmers.
The aqua center is amazing. I’m new to the area with mobility issues. one of the best ways to work on stability, for me at least, is Aqua therapy. Location has three pools as well as an exercise room. As a senior citizen, in Mecklenburg County it very affordable. The facility is clean and comfortable, hopefully I can get here three times a week.
I'm the type of mom who takes their kids everywhere to have fun and we had the worst experience with my girls at this facility! Both of my kids require goggles that cover their nose to swim underwater and I was told that they couldn't wear them. Nobody warned us ahead of time or I would not have entered. Kids could not have fun at all they could not splash, anything they did someone said something about so instead of spending the whole day like we planned, I spent 2 hours there and had to leave. If I could give 0 rating I would. All of the lifeguards have terrible attitudes and made both of my kids cry for being so rude. There was some definite racism going on there. If you have preteens I would not recommend using this facility because they will not enjoy themselves.
Love going there Being 78 having warm water is great. Also the facility is so clean Also used the gym this too was. Clean with a place to keep valuables bring your own lock People were very helpful and kind
The swimming pool is very clean. Lots of people are swimming here, but because the pool is clearly separated by lanes it would not be a problem. Most of the pool that can be used for free swim are quite deep though. There are 2 lifeguards on stand by near the pool. The toilets are clean, and all of facilities are really clean. The price for the entry is also quite cheap. Great place to swim in Charlotte!
