Spacious facility offering swimming lessons and lap pools, plus friendly staff.
The competition pool is typically maintained at a temperature of 79-81 degrees Fahrenheit, while the warm-water leisure pool is usually kept warmer, between 86-88 degrees Fahrenheit.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The aquatics facility is generally well-regarded for its extensive swimming amenities, including a 10-lane competition pool and a warm-up pool, making it suitable for swim meets and lap swimming. Reviewers appreciate the ample space for teams and spectators, clean locker rooms, and helpful, safe staff. Training tools are available, and the facility offers visitor passes and memberships. However, a significant and recurring complaint is the uncomfortably hot and humid temperature, particularly during summer events, which negatively impacts both spectators and swimmers despite some efforts to provide cooling like fans and an AC lobby. Parking for large events can also be challenging. The facility is versatile, accommodating events from competitive meets to children's birthday parties.

My Granddaughter's 3rd birthday at the Aquatics Center. She had a good time.
Mr Dennis was very helpful in my translation work. This is a great pool, super safe staff, open EARLY on weekdays so no excuse not to get laps before hot clean shower at the YMCA!
Great swim facility for a swim meet. Plenty of lanes and space for teams as well as for spectators. Support spaces (bathrooms, lockers, and circulation) were sufficient as well. Parking for large events did require surrounding areas and school to accommodate the cars. My lower rank is solely based on the temperature of the facility. The pool deck and spectator stands are very hot during the time we were there. We were forewarned but for a meet that lasts 3 hours, it was uncomfortable. The limited number of area fans did not sufficiently cool the space. The humidity coupled with 90+ degrees made watching the meet miserable. When swimmers getting out of a pool are sweating on the pool deck between events, you know it's hot. I think the facility should consider an upgrade to their HVAC and large ceiling fans to move air for everyone.
We were there for a finale summer swim meet with 8 teams competing. Only the top four swimmers in each event, from each team competed. It was very full in there but my family and I still got seats. It is also very hot in the summer here but they head a few game mounted that were blowing pretty good. Also, you can step into the lobby where the AC is pumping. They have a nice board that shows you the winners and everyone's times. They have a 10 lane lap pool and a smaller warm up pool.
Great YMCA lap pool. $15 visitor pass per day, but there are weekly memberships and partnerships if you’re a member of your local Y. There’s a deeper competition lap pool, and a more shallow “exercise” lap pool. The later was out of service on my visit but the competition pool was great. Clean locker rooms/showers and training tools (kickboard, pull buoys, etc) and helpful staff.
