Good place. Everything is fun and plenty of life guards. Lazy river usually you need to take turns with because it's crowded. Besides the first hour of swimming during the two sessions each day when you can order pizza, there are only snacks, nothing you can fill up on. I wish they would keep some pouches uncrustables, etc. in stock for some kids that really worked up an appetite. It would be good to have some frozen microwavable food for adults or something else that take more of a bite of of hunger other than chips and crackers.
Went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday as it was her wish to celebrate at the pool. Though it was nice I couldn’t really enjoy myself as I reserved a hut for me and my family, other people just kept coming over and leaving their belongings even though it said reserved on every table. Eventually I had to sit there and let people know it was reserved. Couldn’t even stay my full 4 hours I paid for because it started to get really packed and it was frustrating having to let people know it was reserved. Definitely wouldn’t recommend reserving a hut. I believe a 300 limit is just too much for such a small space.
Good local pool, affordable, and good for families. Only thing is there wasn’t enough chairs. We had to find a place and wait till someone left. If they could get more and have them to the side when needed. Great great staff keep it up.
Decent little pool. Good to take the family too. 3' 6" is the regular deepness. A couple of big slides, a lazy river, and a splash pad like area for small kids.
Unfortunately it’s the only pool out here besides another club where you need a membership. I actually came here the weekend they opened on Sunday. It was packed. Got here at 3:30. There was a line & weren’t letting anyone else in until people left. I saw kids crying lol. It didn’t look over capacity to me personally…but I stood there for a good 45 mins in the baking hot sun. $7 for 2 hours 🙃 They do search bags. Can’t bring your own snacks. Only water. So definitely not an ideal place to come to with kids since the food they do have is just junk with zero substance. They have the weirdest hours. So you can’t ever just spend the whole day uninterrupted. First half leaves, then next group gets to come in. They will make everyone leave & wait in your car if there’s thunder & lightning. Happened to me. They wouldn’t give a rain check after only being there 38 mins 😐 They said only when they close the rest of the day. So basically, you have to wait an indefinite amount of time for them to then close for the day to get a rain check?! Please change your policy. It should be (if we don’t open back up within the hour & you have only been there an hour or less — rain check will be issued). I wasn’t trying to sit in my hot humid car & wait for an indefinite amount of time. That day it rained the rest of the day. I go back the following weekend & asked about a rain check for that weekend I paid $7 for 38 mins. The manager said NO & did not care. Extremely rude. I reminded her the day & previous weekend it rained & stormed. Pretended like she couldn’t remember that happening. Pool season was ending anyway. Overall they’re not very friendly here. Even the lifeguards. They love using those whistles lol. I just don’t understand why they need to in the middle of the day & have these 2 blocks of time. They said it’s for maintenance but every pool I’ve been to doesn’t have to close for that. Just a way for them to make double the money having blocks of time. Statesville is lacking for places to sunbathe. On a positive note, the lazy river is fun. Half the tubes were flat or broken. Pool is clean. It’s fun to people watch.
