Dropped off a pool cleaner to be repaired in May. Between two weeks later and end of July left 8 messages to check status and not one single call was returned. Was told at the end of July that the controller was bad and backordered. I was told to wait two weeks and call back. Again, no return messages. Finally on August 29 I spoke to someone that said my cleaner had never been looked at. They discovered that day that it needed a new cord. Was told that it would be ordered and take a day or two to receive and replace. Still no call back. I picked up my pool cleaner yesterday with a giant sign on it to order cord with an August 29 date on it. As of yesterday, they had still not ordered the cord, so I just brought it home. Absolutely horrible customer service! Months later and a simple minor repair could have been fixed in a matter of a day or two. I ordered the cord this morning from the manufacturer and will have it in two days.

Jess was fantastic to work in helping get my pool ready for the season! For multiple reasons, the pool was being extra difficult this spring. Everything that could go wrong did, including the motor and pipes ... Once I started talking to Jess, everything changed. The pool looks great. And when something happened to the plumbing and pipes, Jess ensured they would stay open an extra minute to get what I needed taken care of. Have been using the Great Backyard for years and they continue to do right by me.

Inheriting an above-ground pool is no small feat and boy is it intimidating. I say this because we never did “pool school” or had any formal training in how to maintain a pool. However, our experience with Mason and the service manager (cannot remember his name, sorry!) have been absolutely wonderful. Mason has helped SO much and has been SO patient with all of my questions about pool chemistry. He is highly intelligent and an absolute sweetheart to boot!

We bought our pool back in 2021 from here and they have an always been a little difficult to deal with unless you’re buying something. Today they were extra extra unhelpful and rude. Oh and the guy who was calling me “right back” never called. We’re moving on from this company. Everything to do with having a pool is way too expensive to get treated poorly.
