What are people saying (AI review summary)? Itasca Water Park generally receives positive feedback for being a clean, well-maintained facility with many fun activities suitable for all ages. Reviewers often praise the attentive lifeguards, friendly staff, and the absence of large crowds, allowing for an enjoyable experience. However, several significant issues detract from the overall satisfaction. A recurring complaint is the policy of charging full adult admission ($15) for 2-year-old toddlers, which many find unreasonable. Additionally, some visitors experienced disappointment due to attractions like major slides or whirlpools being closed or broken without prior notification, leading to feelings of being 'robbed' of the full experience after paying full price. There were also concerns about restroom cleanliness, with suggestions for more trash bins, and a lack of refunds or partial refunds for unexpected early closures due to weather.

It's a decent place but the fact that a 2 year old kid has to pay full price is kinda messed up. Admission is only $15 which is reasonable for adults and teenagers, but not for a 2 year old toddler. It would of gotten 5 stars but again 2 year old full fare brought it down to 3 stars. Other then that we had a good time here until that rain sneaked in and everyone had to get out of the water, so the hour we spent inside the pools was fun for our toddler, would of been nice to get refunded or half back. Cause there's was no rain in the radar and it just happened. It is what it is.
Awesome time our family had in this small but well maintained water park 🏞️. Love to go again there Kids loved it specially.
Lovely waterpark with so many fun activities! Great for all ages, guards are doing their best job to keep place safe, overall clean, no crowd, no big waits. Restroom can have more attention, place big trash bins maybe everyone is leaving their trash in one corner of the floor in restroom/showers which is bit disgusting but maybe placing big trash bin can solve this issue.
We had such a fantastic time at Itasca Water Park! This place is a hidden gem — perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to cool off and have fun. The park is super clean and well-maintained, with plenty of shaded areas and seating for relaxing between swims. The pools are great for all ages, from the splash areas for little ones to the slides and diving boards for older kids and adults. Lifeguards were attentive and on point, which made us feel safe the entire time. The atmosphere was lively but never overwhelming, and the staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in.
Two adults and one 2 year-old total entry pay was $45. Yupp a 2 year old who can’t swim is charged like an adult $15. That’s not even the worst part. As a customer who paid full price expects to experience the full fun activities that is stated on their website/online right? Nope! They had two slides closed and whirlpool broken. (One slide being the biggest main event slide, and a whirlpool that this kids love broken). I walked into the Manager hunt and ask the young kid wearing a manager shirt why was I not notified before purchase that I wasn’t gonna receive my full experience after paying in full? The manager quickly answered and stated ,”that they were shortstaffed, and it was for safety Just shut down slides they can’t be staffed and that the whirlpool was broken”. Listen, I’m all about safety especially with kids. However, this Information about not having the availability of a full service and full experience pool should’ve been posted and brought to attention of the customer before purchase an entry. I was 100% robbed from my full experience and money. The manager’s solution of this upsetting topic after I gave him an example of another pool (Bloomingdale Oasis ) and what they did by posting an attention letter before swiping your card was that they would do the same. To add to the rambling, when my family and I arrived five minutes from opening and the first thing I did was used their family restroom. It was a mess, So unless it was done within the first five minutes of opening, or they’re just lacking attention. An hour later before leaving, I took a look at the front desk and there was no letter or anything posted on the window. I hope our conversation wasn’t a waste of breath.
