What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews consistently point to significant issues across the organization, primarily stemming from extremely poor and unprofessional customer service. Members report widespread unresponsiveness to phone calls and emails, failed attempts to escalate concerns to senior management, and a general lack of care. Recurring financial problems include billing errors, incorrect charges, failure to apply promised credits or incentives, and the imposition of new, unexpected fees. Reviewers also describe being given misleading information regarding member benefits and amenities, as well as operational deficiencies like broken facilities and subpar food. Many express deep frustration with the organization's lack of accountability, noting that requests for clarity are ignored and refunds are denied even with documented evidence of mismanagement, leading some to contemplate legal action. While individual club locations may vary in quality, the overarching sentiment is one of disappointment due to a perceived lack of cohesiveness, transparency, and member-centric listening at a corporate level.

I guess it depends on the club location. Our home club is great but the management there is top notch. We traveled to a club for a tournament in another state and it was okay. I think there should be more seamlessness between venues, and at the top there should be more cohesiveness and member listening. Thanks.
They took over for our community's original builder and promptly enacted a monthly restaurant fee on everybody's invoice. I am concerned that more fees are coming, and we have no method to stop it. Stay away from any communities with these guys running it.
it would be nice if they answered the phone. so far, it is a very unprofessional company.
Really and truly awful customer service. I am a member already. They really do not seem to care. I am so disappointed and frustrated in this organization. I have tried escalating my enquires with them to senior management and despite several attempts NO ONE has contacted me. It is a great concept but save your money or go elsewhere…. Cannot recommend these people.
Woodlands Country Club-Terrible place run by very unprofessional people, most notably the finance teams and VP. The club initially over drafted my account by $10,000.00 when I signed up. Rather than an electronic wire or overnighted check they sent a check that took 30 days. A mistake this large can impact a families life and they didn’t care enough to fast track anything until I begged. After countless efforts they finally overnighted a check. After this, they charged for a guest fee for golf that was not accurate. After providing proof of payment on the guest, it took 2-3 weeks for acknowledgment and credit, after countless attempts for a response. Without emailing again this also would have fallen through the cracks. Beyond this, my original application included months at no cost as sign up incentives. I did not receive one of the months credits and reached out, only to find out they applied it to a year and month I was not a member. Glad I did my due diligence!! After this, they have ignored a request for over 1 month, with no apologies, providing a breakdown of my last bill which was contradicted by saved emails. Finance says my balance, in an email, was $351.00 less than what was on the bill as rollover. After numerous requests, I still have not received the breakdown. Initial explanation from David Sizelove says it includes dues for a month and he also said I was credited dues for same month, in a single email. The staff was was always unprofessional, including the Pro at Palmer. I once asked them to store my bag since I needed to get some work done in clubhouse and they said and he looked at me like an idiot and said “leave it outside”. Sauna was broken the day I tried to use it, food was subpar at legends, no one at legends ever answered the phone, and the gym is incredibly outdated. I was also told I would have guest green fees for half off on Thursdays at trails. Apparently that ended before I signed up and was a LIE. They also did not tell me there are blackout dates at the resort. This is all in 4 months and I have full written and concrete evidence of everything noted here, with none of this being opinion. Fraudulent and borderline criminal to secure business and then ignore members requests for clarity. After all of this they deny a refund stating I don’t have cause. The only positive was management at Trails golf course and their head pro. Amazing human and nothing like my experience with management and Finance. I will be exploring litigation and if you’re an attorney that would like to handle this case, with club denying a refund stating no just cause, please let me know as I am exploring all options.
